Brown, the No. 3 overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft and the first of the Celtics' three first-round selections, concluded an impressive summer league earlier this month, during which he averaged 16.0 points, 6.2 rebounds and 2.3 steals across 29.0 minutes per game. The 6-foot-7 Brown is a small forward by trade, but offers the versatility to guard shooting guards and power forwards depending on the lineup configuration. His abilities on that end of the court should allow Brown to be a rotation player as a rookie, but it's not expected that he'll produce many fantasy-worthy lines over the course of the season. His three-point shooting remains a work in progress, and with Jae Crowder ahead of him on the depth chart, Brown won't be asked to assume major minutes in his first season.
