NBA DFS picks for March 18: Target Anthony Davis in DraftKings, FanDuel daily fantasy basketball

Before you enter a daily fantasy basketball tournament for NBA action on Sunday, you need to hear what professional DFS player Mike McClure has to say. McClure has more than $1 million in career DFS winnings and is rolling through the NBA season, already cashing multiple tournament and cash game rosters.

He has been able to do all that thanks to some spot-on picks.

On Saturday for NBA DFS, McClure locked in Mavericks point guard Yogi Ferrell at $4,200 on FanDuel and $4,600 on DraftKings. The result: Ferrell exploded for a career-high 12 assists, 12 points and five rebounds -- returning 35.0 points on FanDuel and 38.25 on DraftKings. Anyone who rostered him was well on their way to a profitable NBA DFS night.

For Sunday's NBA DFS slate, McClure is all over Celtics point guard Terry Rozier as a value pick at $7,900 on FanDuel and $7,600 on DraftKings.

Rozier is coming off one of his strongest performances of the season. He scored 17 points in 34 minutes against the Magic and gets a dream matchup on Sunday against the Pelicans, who rank 29th in the NBA in scoring defense. He has a strong chance to put up huge numbers again in what should be a high-scoring affair.

If you roster Rozier, you'll have plenty of cap room for a huge star like Pelicans power forward Anthony Davis, who is $12,400 on FanDuel and $11,400 on DraftKings.

Davis gets an ideal NBA DFS matchup against a Celtics squad that has struggled to guard him. In his last meeting against Boston in December, he went off for 45 points, 16 rebounds and two blocks, producing a whopping 75 points on both FanDuel and DraftKings.

With Davis, there's a solid floor of about 40 points on DraftKings or FanDuel each night, but he's also a threat to go off for almost 100, just like he did last month against the Suns (96.1 on FanDuel, 93.0 on DraftKings). Lock him in as one of the top overall NBA DFS plays on Sunday.

McClure is also targeting a forward who has been producing massive numbers recently and gets a juicy matchup on Sunday. The stars are aligning for him to score 30, even 40 points on FanDuel and DraftKings, and he comes at a price that won't break the bank. This pick could be the difference between winning your tournaments and cash games or going home with nothing.
