Minnesota Timberwolves forward Tayshaun Prince missed Wednesday's game against the Toronto Raptors. The reason why Prince missed the game?

He had to go to Detroit to watch his former Pistons teammate Chauncey Billups get his jersey retired.

In a halftime ceremony against the Denver Nuggets, the Pistons honored Billups on Wednesday by retiring his No. 1 jersey. A Finals MVP and five-time All-Star, Billups was a big part of the mid-2000s Pistons teams that won the 2004 NBA title and were perennial championship contenders. Several of his former teammates like Prince, Rasheed Wallace and Richard Hamilton were at his jersey retirement ceremony.
