  • Broncos' Josh Reynolds: Joining Denver's WR corps

Reynolds agreed Wednesday with the Broncos on a two-year contract, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports. Per Garafolo, Reynolds' deal with Denver is worth a maximum of $14 million. The wideout, who turned 29 years old last month, is coming off a 2023 campaign in which he caught 40 of his 64 targets for 608 yards and five touchdowns in 17 regular-season contests for Detroit. With the Broncos, Reynolds will help fill the void created by the recent trade of Jerry Jeudy to the Browns. Reynolds will have a chance to compete with Tim Patrick (Achilles) and Marvin Mims for targets behind No. 1 wideout Courtland Sutton.

  • Josh Reynolds: Scheduled for Baltimore visit

Reynolds will visit the Ravens on Friday, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports. The Ravens met with Michael Gallup earlier in the week and are still looking for veteran, complementary pass catchers for an offense that will be led by QB Lamar Jackson, RB Derrick Henry, WR Zay Flowers and TE Mark Andrews. It might not be the best place for a wide receiver to have fantasy value, but Baltimore does offer a good opportunity for playing time and a playoff run. Reynolds had at least 326 receiving yards (but no more than 618 in each of the past six seasons), starting 52 of 91 regular-season games in that span while playing for three different teams. He turned 29 in February, shortly after catching eight of 14 targets for 132 yards and a TD in three playoff games for Detroit.

  • Lions' Josh Reynolds: Solid 2023 campaign

Reynolds caught 40 of 64 targets for 608 yards and five touchdowns over 17 regular-season games in 2023. After averaging 56.8 yards with three touchdowns over the first six games of the year, Reynolds only collected 26.4 yards per game since that point. Part of his dip in production was tied to the return and then slight ascension of Jameson Williams, who missed the first four games of the year due to a gambling-related suspension but saw increased playing time as the year went on. While Reynolds is now set to become an unrestricted free agent, he will likely remain a fantasy afterthought wherever he lands.

  • Lions' Josh Reynolds: Cleared to play

Reynolds (ribs) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game in San Francisco, Tim Twentyman of the Lions' official site reports. The Lions listed him as a limited practice participant Wednesday and Thursday before upgrading the wideout to full on Friday. Reynolds played 86 and 78 percent of snaps in the team's first two playoff games, catching seven of 10 targets for 107 yards and a touchdown in wins over the Rams and Buccaneers. He's gotten a bit more playing time than Jameson Williams, who has six playoff targets on snap shares of 70 and 58 percent.

  • Lions' Josh Reynolds: Remains limited Thursday

Reynolds (ribs) practiced in a limited capacity Thursday. Reynolds now has put together back-to-back capped sessions to begin preparations for Sunday's NFC Championship Game at San Francisco due to a rib injury. His activity level at Friday's practice likely will determine whether or not he enters the weekend with a designation. Since the Lions' Week 9 bye, Reynolds has surpassed 20 receiving yards only five times in 11 contests en route to a cumulative 25-318-3 line on 43 targets.

  • Lions' Josh Reynolds: Dealing with rib issue

Reynolds was limited at Wednesday's walkthrough due to a rib injury. Reynolds previously tended to groin and back issues this season, but he's suited up for all 19 games, including playoffs. His snap share has wavered at times along the way, but he's surpassed 60 percent in five consecutive contests, a span in which he put together a 14-180-1 receiving line on 23 targets. The modest output comes as no surprise in a Detroit passing game that revolves around wideout Amon-Ra St. Brown and tight end Sam LaPorta (knee), and a new health concern now is affecting Reynolds as he prepares for Sunday's NFC Championship Game in San Francisco.

  • Lions' Josh Reynolds: Ties season high in catches

Reynolds caught five of seven targets for 44 yards during Sunday's 30-20 win over the Vikings. Reynolds technically saw his most action in the passing game since Week 1, and it came in the absence of Jameson Williams (ankle). However, with the receiver needing 36 receiving yards to hit 600 on the year and trigger a $250k bonus in his contract, quarterback Jared Goff peppered Reynolds with four straight passes on Detroit's final four offensive plays of the game. Reynolds otherwise finished a distant third in targets behind Amon-Ra St. Brown and Sam LaPorta (ankle). With that said, each of LaPorta, Williams and Kalif Raymond (knee) could be banged up entering the wild-card round of the playoffs, leaving Reynolds as the potential No. 2 option in the passing game ahead of a revenge matchup with the Rams.

  • Lions' Josh Reynolds: Earns two targets

Reynolds caught one of two passes for 13 yards during Saturday's 20-19 loss to the Cowboys. Logging 68 percent of the offensive snaps, Reynolds saw his highest snap share in weeks on a day that the Lions heavily utilized three-receiver formations. With Jameson Williams (ankle), who logged 64 percent of the snaps, tending to a minor ankle injury, Reynolds could return to being the clear No. 2 option at wide receiver behind Amon-Ra St. Brown during the regular-season finale Sunday against Minnesota.

  • Lions' Josh Reynolds: Minimal production in Week 16

Reynolds caught one of four targets for 16 yards in Sunday's 30-24 win over the Vikings. Reynolds played the second-most offensive snaps (46) at wide receiver behind Amon-Ra St. Brown (78), but he was unable to get much going throughout the contest. Despite the down performance, the veteran wideout remains a key member of the Detroit passing attack in an offense flush with playmakers.

  • Lions' Josh Reynolds: Makes some plays

Reynolds caught two of three targets for 41 yards during Saturday's win over Denver. Posting more than 40 receiving yards in back-to-back games, Reynolds is showing a little life after previously failing to top 15 yards since Week 7. However, it is starting to look like Jameson Williams is taking hold of the No. 2 spot on the depth chart after setting career highs with seven targets and 69 percent of the snaps (compared to 58 percent for Reynolds). It will be hard to trust Reynolds for fantasy production in a Week 16 showdown with Minnesota.

  • Lions' Josh Reynolds: Suiting up Saturday

Reynolds (back) is listed as active Saturday against the Broncos. Reynolds logged limited practices to wrap up Week 15 prep Wednesday and Thursday, taking a questionable designation into the weekend. No matter, he'll be available to the Lions offense Saturday against a Denver defense that has given up the eighth-most yards per target (8.6) to opposing wide receivers this season.

  • Lions' Josh Reynolds: Questionable for Saturday

Reynolds (back) is listed as questionable for Saturday's game against the Broncos. Reynolds showed up on the Lions' Week 15 injury report Wednesday as limited due to a back issue, and he maintained that activity level one day later. Still, his status is up in the air heading into the weekend. Even if he's able to suit up Saturday, though, Reynolds hasn't reached 50 receiving yards since Week 6, and he's topped out at three catches in a game in seven outings in the meantime.

  • Lions' Josh Reynolds: Dealing with back issue

Reynolds was a limited participant at Wednesday's practice due to a back injury. Reynolds wasn't included on the Lions' estimated injury report Tuesday, so his addition one day later now places a cloud over his status as the team prepares for Saturday's game against the Broncos. His listing on Thursday's practice report will reveal whether or not he enters the weekend with a designation.

  • Lions' Josh Reynolds: Finds end zone against Bears

Reynolds secured three of four targets for 44 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 28-13 loss to the Bears. The veteran wideout was played 36 of Detroit's 65 offensive snaps, trailing only Amon-Ra St. Brown (57) and Jameson Williams (38) among Lions receivers. After recording at least five targets in four of the Lions' first five games, Reynolds has seen his involvement in the Detroit passing attack take a slight hit with rookies Sam LaPorta and Jahmyr Gibbs as well as second-year wideout Jameson Williams becoming greater priorities. Reynolds hasn't topped four targets in any of his subsequent eight contests and has produced a 15-203-2 receiving line during that span.

  • Lions' Josh Reynolds: Two targets against Bears

Reynolds caught one of two targets for 11 yards during Sunday's win over Chicago. Reynolds has totaled four catches for 39 yards on seven targets over the past three weeks despite favorable matchups against the Raiders, Chargers and Bears. Meanwhile, Jameson Williams logged over half of the offensive snaps for the first time in his career last week in Los Angeles before shooting up to a nearly 68 percent figure against Chicago -- and snagging a 32-yard touchdown in the process. While Reynolds still finished second behind Amon-Ra St. Brown with a 73 percent snap share, it wouldn't be a surprise to see Williams jump Reynolds on the depth chart before season's end.

  • Lions' Josh Reynolds: Slump continues

Reynolds caught two of four targets for 15 yards during Sunday's win over the Chargers. After snagging three touchdowns and topping 66 receiving yards four times over the first five games of the year, Reynolds has caught just four of eight targets for 121 yards without a score in four games since. Given that he didn't drop below 70 percent of the offensive snaps in any game over this stretch, playing time isn't to blame for Reynolds' decrease in production. With Donovan Peoples-Jones in the fold plus Jameson Williams fresh off a career-high 52 percent snap share, it could get even harder for Reynolds to earn targets down the stretch.

  • Lions' Josh Reynolds: Not earning targets

Reynolds caught one pass for 13 yards during Monday's win over the Raiders. The Lions leaned heavily on Reynolds and Amon-Ra St. Brown, who each logged at least 83 percent of the snaps while the next-closest receiver, Jameson Williams, checked in at 40 percent. However, Reynolds again did little with his opportunities and has now seen three fewer targets than Williams over the past four weeks despite seeing roughly double the playing time. Reynolds could become an afterthought in the Lions passing game should Williams keep eating into his playing time, though an appetizing Week 10 matchup with the Chargers secondary gives hope for both players to find success after Detroit's Week 9 bye.

  • Lions' Josh Reynolds: Modest production

Reynolds caught two of three targets for 45 yards during Sunday's loss to the Ravens. The volume and production were each the lowest of the season for Reynolds outside of his Week 3 goose egg against Atlanta. On the bright side, Reynolds continued to log around 70 percent of the offensive snaps despite Jameson Williams approaching 50 percent of the snaps for the second time in the past three weeks. The Texas A&M product will look to bounce back Week 8 against a Raiders team permitting the third-fewest passing yards per game in 2023.

  • Lions' Josh Reynolds: Limited volume in win

Reynolds recorded three receptions on three targets for 50 yards in Sunday's 20-6 win over the Buccaneers. Reynolds earned at least five targets in four of his first five games, though he saw a diminished role and fell into a group of three pass catchers with three targets Sunday. He managed to work efficiently with the opportunity, tallying long receptions of 21 and 20 yards. While Reynolds has established himself as a big-play threat, the return of Jameson Williams and the ongoing involvement of Kalif Raymond make consistent production difficult to bank on moving forward.

  • Lions' Josh Reynolds: Week 6 Early Waiver Targets (Add/Drop)

Reynolds continues to make the most of his opportunities, putting up another big game in Week 5, this time with Amon-Ra St. Brown sidelined by an abdominal injury. He had just five targets (an 18% target share even in a low volume game), but turned them into four catches for 76 yards and a touchdown, his third of the season. Reynolds has at least 12.9 PPR points in four of five games this season, though he also has just one game with more than six targets, so there's definitely still some boom-or-bust in his game. However, with how well he's playing, he'll be worth a look as a WR3 in Week 6 against the Buccaneers, especially if St. Brown is still sidelined.
