Predators' Ryan O'Reilly: Stays hot in OT win
O'Reilly scored a power-play goal, tallied a power-play assist, put two shots on goal and served two PIM in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime win over Minnesota.
O'Reilly played a hand in both power-play goals scored by the Predators in Tuesday's opening period. He scored just shy of 15 minutes into the period before helping out on Roman Josi's tally minutes later. With the pair of points, O'Reilly is up to 11 goals, 21 assists, 61 shots on net and 24 hits through 36 games this season. The 34-year-old center has been on fire, registering 19 points in his last 14 games while posting two goals and nine helpers over an eight-game point streak. He continues to lead Nashville in points from his spot as the team's top line center alongside Filip Forsberg and Steven Stamkos. O'Reilly is trending toward must-roster status in all fantasy formats with his play over the last month.

The two-way center has continued to thrive on both sides of the ice this season and has helped the Predators go 9-4-0 in their last 13 contests. During that stretch, O'Reilly has 17 points, 21 shots on goal and six blocks. The 34-year-old center is a strong fantasy option in nearly all formats for the time being while riding a seven-game point streak.

Predators' Ryan O'Reilly: Extends hot streak
O'Reilly scored a goal in Thursday's 7-2 win over the Blues.
Even though Steven Stamkos grabbed most of the praise following his four-goal performance, it's hard to overlook what O'Reilly has been doing of late. The 34-year-old veteran has cracked the scoresheet in six of the Predators' last eight games, tallying 10 points (four goals, six assists) in that span. He's up to 23 points on the season, and he should continue to see plenty of opportunities to rack up points as long as he remains on the first line skating alongside Stamkos and Luke Evangelista.

Predators' Ryan O'Reilly: Sparks comeback win in Florida
O'Reilly produced a goal and an assist in Thursday's 2-1 overtime win over the Panthers.

O'Reilly then got the puck back to Steven Stamkos on the rush with less than a minute left in OT for the winner. O'Reilly has three multi-point performances in the last five games, a stretch in which he's popped for three goals and eight points -- double his production from the prior 12 contests (one goal, four points).

Predators' Ryan O'Reilly: Goal, assist in win
O'Reilly scored the game-winning goal, added an assist and went plus-2 in Friday's 4-3 win over the Blackhawks.
O'Reilly's tally at 7:15 of the third period was enough to secure the win. The 34-year-old center has logged back-to-back multi-point efforts. He's had a few bursts of offense this season, but he's had just as many slumps for a team that has struggled with consistency. O'Reilly is at eight goals, 18 points, 40 shots on net, 19 blocked shots and a plus-2 rating over 24 appearances in a top-line role and will continue to be one of Nashville's most important forwards.

Predators' Ryan O'Reilly: Two helpers in loss to Stars
O'Reilly notched two assists in Saturday's 5-4 loss to Dallas.
The veteran center had a hand in tallies by Luke Evangelista in the first period and Filip Forsberg in the second as the Predators built a 3-2 lead that slipped away in the final frame. It was O'Reilly's first multi-point performance since Oct. 25, snapping a seven-game skid in which he'd managed just one goal and two points. On the season, he's contributed six goals and 12 points in 17 contests.

Predators' Ryan O'Reilly: Gets lone goal in loss
O'Reilly scored a goal on four shots in Thursday's 3-1 loss to the Flyers.
O'Reilly got a piece of a Filip Forsberg shot that went in at 1:44 of the first period. The tally snapped a five-game point drought for O'Reilly, who has had one good stretch sandwiched in between a couple of quieter runs this season. The 34-year-old center is up to six goals, four assists, 28 shots on net, 15 blocked shots and a minus-4 rating over 16 appearances. O'Reilly continues to see top-six minutes, so if his offense turns positive again, the rest of Nashville's lineup should benefit as well.

Predators' Ryan O'Reilly: Big game in shootout win
O'Reilly scored two goals on four shots, added an assist, blocked two shots and went plus-3 in Saturday's 5-4 shootout win over the Kings.
O'Reilly has three goals and three assists during his four-game point streak. His effort Saturday was the first multi-point performance of his season, and he's up to five tallies, three assists, 13 shots on net and nine blocked shots in nine appearances. O'Reilly has filled a top-line role as usual this year, so the 34-year-old should at least provide a safe floor on offense. He's typically more of a pass-first player, though he can still pot 20-plus goals in a good year.

Both of O'Reilly's goals this year have been game-winners, leading the Predators to their 2-0-1 start. In addition to the tallies, the veteran center has four shots on net, two hits and a plus-1 rating across three contests. He is poised to remain on Nashville's top line.

Predators' Ryan O'Reilly: Tallies game-winning goal
O'Reilly scored the game-winning goal on the power play in Thursday's 2-1 season-opening win over the Blue Jackets.
O'Reilly came through in a big spot for the Predators, as he scored the game-winner early in the third period. That goal continues his success with the man advantage, as he put up 28 power-play points in 2023-24 and 17 last year. The 34-year-old began this season in a top-line role on the right wing alongside Filip Forsberg and Brady Martin. O'Reilly could draw starts this season anywhere in the Predators' top-six and will aim to maintain his track record of strong two-way play, which could lead to good category coverage in fantasy.

Predators' Ryan O'Reilly: Racks up three points in finale
O'Reilly scored a power-play goal on two shots and added two assists in Wednesday's 5-1 win over the Stars.
O'Reilly struggled at times like many of his Nashville teammates this season. However, the veteran center put together a strong finish with five goals and six assists over his last 12 outings. The 34-year-old had a total of 21 goals, 32 helpers, 151 shots on net, 72 blocked shots and a minus-23 rating over 79 appearances this season. He's under contract for 2025-26 and will likely feature in a top-six role once again as the strongest two-way center on the Predators' roster.

Predators' Ryan O'Reilly: Reaches 50-point mark
O'Reilly scored a power-play goal and distributed an assist in Monday's 7-3 loss to Utah.
O'Reilly tallied the opening goal of Monday's clash on a power play just over six minutes into the game. He then got involved again offensively with the primary helper on Luke Evangelista's 10th marker of the season. O'Reilly's pair of points brings his season total up to 20 goals and 30 assists, meaning he's reached the 50-point mark for the 12th time in his last 14 seasons. While his production with Nashville has taken a step back from last year, his ability to grind out 50 points amid the team's struggles speaks to O'Reilly's grit as a player. The 34-year-old center has value in all deeper-league fantasy formats, but he may struggle to stand out in standard leagues if the Predators get off to another slow start in the 2025-26 campaign.
