Price (elbow) was scheduled to make 30 throws from 75-to-90 feet Wednesday, Tim Britton of the Providence Journal reports.

The Red Sox have been having Price throw two out of every three days as he aims to build up strength in his injured elbow. Price is on track to open the season on the 10-day DL, and could be at risk of missing all of April, though the team has yet to provide an official timetable for his return. His absence will allow all of Eduardo Rodriguez, Steven Wright and Drew Pomeranz to open the season in the rotation, though one of the three would presumably be bumped to the bullpen once Price is healthy.
