Vallejo (knee) will not play in Sunday's season opener against the Jets, Sal Capaccio of WGR Sports Radio 550 reports.
Vallejo has been out with the injury since he had his knee scoped a few weeks ago, and after failing to put in any time at practice this past week, he'll be held out of Sunday's contest. He should be considered week-to-week going forward.
