Matthew Wright: Kicking for KC's practice squad

Wright has been added to the Chiefs' practice squad, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Wright was waived by the Panthers ahead of Tuesday's final roster cuts. He was brought in to Kansas City for kicking insurance, as Jake Moody (quadriceps) is uncertain for Week 1. The 27-year-old suited up for six games in 2022 between the Chiefs and Steelers.
