Sabres' Jack Quinn: Assigned to taxi squad

The Sabres assigned Quinn to their taxi squad Thursday.

Quinn impressed during training camp, and the Sabres clearly want to keep him around so he can continue to practice with the big club, but he's still a little too undersized for NHL action, so don't expect him to get promoted to the 23-man roster in the near future. The 2020 eighth overall pick will, however, likely stick with the taxi squad until the OHL season gets underway.
