Simek left Saturday's game against Dallas with an undisclosed injury and won't return, according to Sheng Peng of San Jose Hockey Now.
Simek logged just 1:51 of ice time before he exited the game. He was playing in just his second contest since returning from an upper-body injury. Scott Harrington might draw into the lineup Sunday versus Chicago if Simek isn't available.
