  • Dach (wrist) won't play in the Blackhawks' final three games of the season. Dach aggravated his surgically-repaired wrist during Monday's loss to the Hurricanes, and the Blackhawks have already been eliminated from playoff contention, so they're not going to take any chances with their No. 1 center of the future. The third overall pick from the 2019 NHL Entry Draft will finish the campaign having picked up 10 points and 26 shots on goal in 18 games.

  • Dach will sit out Tuesday's game in Carolina due to right wrist scar tissue aggravation. Dach played in 18 straight games from March 25 after sitting out the entirely of the season up to that point with a wrist injury. It sounds like the issue keeping him out Tuesday is related, and with just three games left for the Blackhawks after this one, it seems like Dach's campaign could be over.

  • Dach scored a power-play goal on two shots in Saturday's 5-4 loss to the Panthers. Dach launched a comeback effort for the Blackhawks with his third-period goal. The 20-year-old center has two tallies, eight assists, 26 shots on net and an even plus-minus rating in 17 appearances. He's likely to remain in a top-six role to close out the season. Dach has a goal and four helpers in his last five outings.

  • Dach posted an assist, two PIM and a plus-2 rating in Thursday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Panthers. Dach helped out on a Vinnie Hinostroza goal in the second period. In his last four games, Dach has provided four helpers. He began the year sidelined by a broken wrist, but the 20-year-old center has been solid since returning on March 27. He's produced nine points, 24 shots on net and a plus-1 rating in 16 contests.
