The New York Yankees (15-8) look to keep pace with the Baltimore Orioles in the AL East race when they host the Oakland Athletics (9-14) on Tuesday. First pitch from Yankees Stadium is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. ET. Marcus Stroman will be on the mound for New York and will be looking to continue his strong start to the 2024 season. In his last outing Stroman allowed two earned runs in 5.1 innings for a no decision. The A's rank among the worst offensive teams in Major League Baseball, with a team batting average of .204. Should you include Stroman in your Tuesday MLB DFS lineups?

McClure's top MLB DFS picks for Tuesday

One of McClure's top MLB DFS picks for Monday is Rangers shortstop Corey Seager at $5,700 on DraftKings and $3,500 on FanDuel. Seager has gone hitless in back-to-back games, but still enters Tuesday with a solid stat line, hitting .272 with one home run and six RBI on the season. He has six multi-hit games in 2024 already, and remains one of the top offensive shortstops in the game.

Seager has hit .295 or better in five full MLB seasons during his career. The 29-year-old is a four-time All-Star, and has won three Silver Slugger Awards. Despite his recent struggles at the plate, Seager's career trajectory would suggest he's due for a nice bounce back game on Tuesday.

McClure is stacking Seager with Mariners outfielder Julio Rodriguez at $5,000 on DraftKings and $3,200 on FanDuel. Rodriguez burst onto the MLB scene as a rookie in 2022, hitting .284 with 28 home runs, 75 RBI, 25 stolen bases, and an OPS of .853 en route to winning AL Rookie of the Year and being named to the AL All-Star team. He followed that up with another standout season in 2023, hitting .275 with 32 home runs, 103 RBI, 37 stolen bases and an OPS of .818, earning his second consecutive All-Star selection.

Rodriguez enters Tuesday batting .276 with eight RBI and six stolen bases on the season. The two-time Silver Slugger Award winner has elite power, and it's only a matter of time before he notches his first home run of 2024. Rodriguez is facing Texas starter Dan Dunning, who has allowed five home runs in four starts this season, on Tuesday. See McClure's full MLB DFS player pool at SportsLine.
