Russell Westbrook announced that he and his wife welcomed a baby boy into the world on Tuesday.

Noah Russell Westbrook, who reportedly gathered a triple-double shortly after his birth, weighed 7 pounds, 5 ounces, and was measured at 20 inches long.

It's the first child for Westbrook and his wife, Nina, who both played basketball at UCLA.

With his Thunder eliminated from the NBA Playoffs, Westbrook is likely in training mode preparing for the 2017-18 season, much like he does every offseason. But now that he has newfound responsibilities with a newborn baby, he has to worry about diapers and swaddling as much as he does about driving and scoring.

Something tells me he might be a slam dunk of a father.
