Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love made his first career NFL start on Sunday at the Kansas City Chiefs, and his girlfriend and mom were at Arrowhead Stadium.

But "at Arrowhead Stadium" doesn't necessarily mean anywhere close to the action, as Ronika Stone and Anna Love found out the hard way.

It's not uncommon for opposing teams to put the visitors' friends and family section far from the field, and this certainly takes that to the extreme.

Jordan Love said on Friday that his mother has never missed a game, going back to when he was a redshirt freshman at Utah State, and that streak certainly wasn't going to end on Sunday, with Love making his first career NFL start. The Packers' first-round pick from 2020 didn't see any playing time last year as a rookie. He had played only sparingly this season: late in a Week 1 blowout loss to the Saints and three kneel-downs in a Week 2 win over the Lions.

That all changed, of course, this week with Aaron Rodgers testing positive for COVID-19, thrusting Love into the starting role in less-than-ideal circumstances.

Love gave his girlfriend and mom something to cheer about late in the fourth quarter with his first NFL touchdown pass, but it wasn't enough in a 13-7 loss to the Chiefs.
