  • Eagles' Grant Calcaterra: Ready for Sunday

Calcaterra (ankle) doesn't have an injury designation ahead of Sunday's wild-card round matchup with the 49ers. Calcaterra was able to upgrade to a full participant in Friday's practice after being limited Thursday and a non-participant Wednesday. The tight end is all set to suit up for Sunday's playoff contest as the No. 2 option behind Dallas Goedert.

  • Eagles' Grant Calcaterra: Upgrades to limited practice

Calcaterra (ankle) was limited in practice Thursday. Calcaterra did not practice Wednesday, but he appears to be making progress ahead of Sunday's wild-card round matchup against the 49ers. Meanwhile, top tight end Dallas Goedert (knee) has logged back-to-back limited practices after having sat out Week 18. It appears both TEs have a solid chance of being available for Sunday's contest, and Friday's practice report will officially reveal whether either Calcaterra or Goedert are assigned an official injury tag.

  • Eagles' Grant Calcaterra: Not practicing

Calcaterra (ankle) didn't practice Wednesday. Calcaterra made an early exit from Sunday's 24-17 loss to Washington on account of knee and ankle injuries. He's now listed with just an ankle injury, but it's not enough to keep him out of practice, whereas starting tight end Dallas Goedert (knee) was a limited participant Wednesday. Goedert didn't practice or play last week, but he now appears on track to return for Sunday's game against the 49ers.

  • Eagles' Grant Calcaterra: Exits game with multiple injuries

Calcaterra (ankle/knee) is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Commanders. Calcaterra appeared to sustain the injuries while being tackled by Jeremy Reaves in the third quarter, and the former was taken to the locker room to be evaluated by medical staff. Dallas Goedert (knee) is inactive, so Kylen Granson and Cameron Latu are in line for more offensive snaps at tight end for as long as Calcaterra is out of the game.

  • Eagles' Grant Calcaterra: Held without target Monday

Calcaterra wasn't targeted while playing 15 of the Eagles' 71 snaps on offense in Monday's 22-19 overtime loss to the Chargers. Calcaterra continued to serve mainly as a blocker on offense for the Eagles; he didn't run a route on any of his 15 snaps in Week 14. Even with top tight end Dallas Goedert missing a game back in Week 2, Calcaterra hasn't made much of a splash in fantasy at any point this season. He's totaled five receptions for 48 yards and no touchdowns on eight targets through 11 appearances.

  • Eagles' Grant Calcaterra: No targets Sunday

Calcaterra went without a target while playing 34 of the Eagles' 72 snaps on offense in Sunday's 16-9 win over the Lions. Though he was on the field for nearly half of the Eagles' snaps, Calcaterra ran just three routes on the night. So long as top tight end Dallas Goedert stays healthy, Calcaterra looks like he'll be limited mostly to a blocking role on offense.

  • Eagles' Grant Calcaterra: No targets in Week 8 return

Calcaterra went without a target while playing 36 of the Eagles' 59 snaps on offense in Sunday's 38-20 win over the Giants. Though he played just one fewer snap than top tight end Dallas Goedert, Calcaterra -- who had missed the previous two games while recovering from a concussion -- was substantially less involved in the passing game. Goedert ran 21 routes to Calcaterra's eight and capitalized on those opportunities, finishing with a 3-28-2 receiving line on three targets. Calcaterra will continue to remain an infrequent target of quarterback Jalen Hurts so long as Goedert is available.

  • Eagles' Grant Calcaterra: Still limited Thursday

Calcaterra (oblique) remained limited in Thursday's practice. Calcaterra has missed two consecutive games with the injury, but back-to-back limited practices at least gives him a chance to return for Week 8 against the Giants. Calcaterra has four catches for 40 scoreless yards as Dallas Goedert's distant backup this season.

  • Eagles' Grant Calcaterra: Logs limited practice Wednesday

Calcaterra (oblique) was a limited participant at practice Wednesday. Calcaterra has sat out Philadelphia's last two games due to an oblique issue he picked up in Week 5 versus the Broncos, but it now appears he could be on track to suit up again soon. He'll get two more chances to upgrade to a full practice before the Eagles release their final practice report of the week Friday.

  • Eagles' Grant Calcaterra: Considered unavailable Monday

Calcaterra (oblique) was considered to be a non-participant on Monday's estimated injury report. Calcaterra suffered an oblique injury in the first quarter of the team's 21-17 loss to the Broncos in Week 5, ultimately remaining sidelined for the rest of the day. The tight end will have two more chances to participate in some capacity at practice before Thursday's matchup with the Giants.

  • Eagles' Grant Calcaterra: Exits game with oblique injury

Calcaterra is questionable to return to Sunday's game against Denver due to an oblique injury. Calcaterra went to the locker room in the first quarter after sustaining an oblique injury, and he'll undergo further tests to determine whether he can return. Kylen Granson and Cameron Latu will see more snaps at tight end behind starter Dallas Goedert for as long as Calcaterra is out of the game.

  • Eagles' Grant Calcaterra: Good to go against Denver

Calcaterra (illness) was a full participant in Friday's practice and carries no injury designation into Sunday's game against the Broncos. Calcaterra popped up on Thursday's injury report due to an illness, but the fourth-year tight end has been cleared to play in Week 5. With Dallas Goedert (knee) also given the green light to play Sunday, Calcaterra will slot in as the Eagles' TE2 while Kylen Granson and Cameron Latu provide additional depth at the position.

  • Eagles' Grant Calcaterra: Under the weather

Calcaterra (illness) did not participate in Thursday's practice. The illness appears to be new, as Calcaterra was not listed on Wednesday's injury report. How he recovers over the coming days will determine whether he will play in Sunday's home game against the Broncos. Kylen Granson and Cameron Latu would be in line to serve as the Eagles' top two tight ends if Calcaterra and Dallas Goedert (knee) were unable to play.

  • Eagles' Grant Calcaterra: No targets in Week 3

Calcaterra was not targeted a single time in Sunday's 33-26 win over the Rams. Calcaterra caught just one pass as the Eagles' top tight end in Week 2, but his role got even smaller due to Dallas Goedert being back in action in Week 3. Calcaterra barely even saw the field, playing just 12 offensive snaps as the Eagles spent most of the game in one tight-end sets while trailing for most of the game.

  • Eagles' Grant Calcaterra: Held to one catch as top tight end

Calcaterra served as the Eagles' No. 1 tight end Sunday against the Chiefs due to Dallas Goedert's knee injury but finished with just one catch for six yards. Calcaterra outsnapped fellow tight end Kyle Granson 53-34, leaving little doubt that he remains Goedert's top deputy. Goedert has missed an average of five games per season since 2022, so that role should continue to lead to a handful of starts for Calcaterra, but those starts won't necessarily lead to many targets. He was targeted just twice in Week 2.

  • Eagles' Grant Calcaterra: Two grabs in season finale

Calcaterra caught two of his four targets for 10 yards in Sunday's 20-13 win over the Giants. The Eagles rested most of their starters in Week 18 with the second seed in the NFC locked up. However, they gave starting tight end Dallas Goedert the chance to knock off some rust after a four-game absence due to a knee injury, so Calcaterra didn't have the same workload boost as most of the team's backups. Thanks to more missed time from Goedert throughout the year, Calcaterra finished his third professional season with career highs in catches (24), yards (298) and touchdowns (one).

  • Eagles' Grant Calcaterra: Big gain on one catch

Calcaterra secured one of two targets for 34 yards in the Eagles' 41-7 win over the Cowboys on Sunday. Calcaterra bounced back to an extent from a blanking against the Commanders in Week 16, recording one of his signature chunk gains on his one reception. Calcaterra continues to operate as the No. 1 tight end with Dallas Goedert (IR-knee) sidelined, but the former hasn't seen more than three targets in a game since Week 9. Calcaterra and the Eagles close out the season against the Giants at home in Week 18.

  • Eagles' Grant Calcaterra: Snags first career TD

Calcaterra caught all three of his targets for 16 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 22-16 win over the Panthers. Getting the start at tight end in place of Dallas Goedert (knee), Calcaterra didn't see much volume but came up big when it counted, catching a four-yard TD from Jalen Hurts early in the fourth quarter for what proved to be the game-winning score. It was Calcaterra's first career touchdown, and in the five contests Goedert has either missed or left early this season, his understudy has produced a 16-176-1 line on 16 targets. Calcaterra should see increased volume again in Week 15 against the Steelers.

  • Eagles' Grant Calcaterra: Week 14 Streamers (TE Preview)

Calcaterra had three games earlier this year where he scored at least eight PPR Fantasy points without a touchdown. This week he faces a Carolina defense that has surrendered the most Fantasy points to tight ends. You could do much worse for a desperation stream

  • Eagles' Grant Calcaterra: Week 14 Waiver Priority List

Dallas Goedert (knee) could be out in Week 14 against Carolina, and Calcaterra could benefit, especially if DeVonta Smith (hamstring) is out as well. Goedert missed three games earlier this season from Weeks 7-9, and Calcaterra scored at least 8.0 PPR points in two of those outings. The Panthers are No. 1 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing tight ends, and Calcaterra is worth adding in deeper leagues for 1 percent of your remaining FAB.
