  • Bengals' Chase Brown: Finds end zone in season finale

Brown carried the ball 13 times for 72 yards and caught four of six targets for 18 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 20-18 loss to the Browns. The rushing yardage gave Brown his first 1,000-yard campaign on the ground, while the first-quarter TD gave him a total of 11 on the season (six rushing, five receiving) to tie his career high. The third-year RB also set a new personal best with 1,456 scrimmage yards, and he'll head into the final year of his rookie contract in 2026 locked into the top spot in the Cincy backfield.

  • Bengals' Chase Brown: Ready for Sunday

Brown (illness) doesn't have a designation for Sunday's game versus the Browns. Brown sat out practice Wednesday and Thursday due to an illness, but his return to the field Friday included no limitations, thereby clearing him to continue to lead the Bengals backfield Week 18. Since the team's Week 10 bye, he's reeled off 745 yards from scrimmage and seven total TDs in seven contests, and with QB Joe Burrow starting and no other key skill-position players expected to have a reduced workload Sunday, Brown should be good for his typical 60-plus percent snap share.

  • Bengals' Chase Brown: Back at practice Friday

Brown (illness) returned to practice Friday, Ben Baby of ESPN.com reports. After missing practice both Wednesday and Thursday, Brown's return to the field Friday has him trending in the right direction as Sunday's season finale against the Browns approaches. The Bengals' final injury report of the season will relay whether Brown heads into the weekend with a designation or fully cleared for Week 18 action.

  • Bengals' Chase Brown: Misses another practice

Brown (illness) didn't practice Thursday. Following back-to-back 'DNPs,' the focus shifts to what -- if anything -- Brown is able to do in the Bengals' final practice of the season Friday. If he's limited or sidelined Sunday against the Browns, added snaps/touches would be available for fellow RBs Samaje Perine and Tahj Brooks.

  • Bengals' Chase Brown: Not spotted at start of practice

Brown (illness) wasn't spotted during the media-access portion of Thursday's practice, Ben Baby of ESPN.com reports. Should Brown be officially deemed a 'DNP' on Thursday's injury report, he'll have one more opportunity to practice ahead of Sunday's season finale against the Browns. If the running back ends up sidelined this weekend, added backfield reps in Week 18 would be available for Samaje Perine and Tahj Brooks.

  • Bengals' Chase Brown: Two more scores Sunday

Brown carried the ball 22 times for 101 yards and two touchdowns and caught all three of his targets for 40 yards in Sunday's 37-14 win over the Cardinals. The third-year back put the game on ice with a pair of third-quarter scores, from six yards and one yard out. Brown has scored multiple TDs in three of the last four games while topping 100 scrimmage yards in five of the last seven, and he needs just 53 more rushing yards to reach 1,000 on the season for the first time. He'll look to reach that milestone in Week 18 against the Browns.

  • Bengals' Chase Brown: Finds paydirt three times in Miami

Brown carried the ball 12 times for 66 yards and a touchdown and caught all four of his targets for 43 yards and two more scores in Sunday's 45-21 win over the Dolphins. All three of Brown's trips to the end zone came in the third quarter, making him the first player in the NFL this season with three TDs in the same period. It was the third time in 2025 that the third-year back has scored multiple touchdowns, but he's got only eight TDs in total (four rushing, four receiving) through 15 contests. Brown lines up for another juicy matchup in Week 17 against the Cardinals.

  • Bengals' Chase Brown: Reaches century mark again

Brown carried the ball 19 times for 107 yards and caught two of four targets for 23 yards in Sunday's 26-20 loss to the Patriots. The 130 scrimmage yards were a season high for Brown, who ran for at least 100 yards for the second time in 11 games and recorded at least 100 scrimmage yards for the fifth straight contest. The third-year back has piled up 424 rushing yards and 150 receiving yards during that hot streak while scoring two TDs, one on the ground and one through the air. Brown and the entire Bengals offense could get a boost in Week 13 if Joe Burrow (toe) is able to return for a Thanksgiving game against the Ravens.

  • Bengals' Chase Brown: RBs to Start

Brown was having an awful Fantasy season prior to facing the Steelers in Week 7. He had one touchdown through Week 6, and his best rushing performance was 47 yards in Week 2 against Jacksonville. But things changed for him against Pittsburgh when he had 11 carries for 108 yards and two catches for minus-8 yards on four targets. He scored 12 PPR points in that game, and he followed that up with 25.5 PPR points against the Jets in Week 8 and 19.2 PPR points against Chicago in Week 9. I expect him to keep the momentum going in the rematch with the Steelers, who have allowed three running backs in the past four games to score at least 12 PPR points. I doubt Brown will hit the century mark again in the rematch, but I hope he remains involved in the passing game. In his past two outings against the Jets and Bears, he has 11 catches for 107 yards and a touchdown on 17 targets. Samaje Perine (ankle) could also be out in Week 11, which is a boost for Brown, who should be considered a No. 2 Fantasy running back in all leagues.

  • Bengals' Chase Brown: Busy day as receiver in loss

Brown rushed 11 times for 37 yards and brought in eight of 14 targets for 75 yards in the Bengals' 47-42 loss to the Bears on Sunday. The wild back-and-forth nature of the game limited Brown's rushing opportunities against a vulnerable Bears run defense, but the third-year back made up for it with his work as a receiver. Brown's catch and target totals were both team and season highs, and he did manage to log double-digit carries for the third straight contest. Brown will face the Steelers' inconsistent run defense on the road when the Bengals return from their Week 10 bye on Sunday, Nov. 16.

  • Bengals' Chase Brown: RBs to Start

Brown is hot coming into Week 9 with 23 carries for 181 yards and a touchdown and five catches for 24 yards and a touchdown on seven targets in his past two games against Pittsburgh and the Jets. Joe Flacco (shoulder) started those two games, and hopefully Flacco is healthy for this matchup with the Bears. Chicago has allowed six running backs to score at least 13.1 PPR points this season, and Brown should add to that total, especially if Flacco is ready to play.

  • Bengals' Chase Brown: Tops 100 total yards with two TDs

Brown rushed 12 times for 73 yards and a touchdown while catching all three of his targets for 32 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 39-38 loss to the Jets. Brown's 19-yard touchdown catch in the second quarter marked his first trip to the end zone since he scored on the ground back in Week 1, and he tacked on a one-yard rushing touchdown in the fourth quarter. He also set a new season high with 105 scrimmage yards, topping his 100 against Pittsburgh in Week 7. Fellow Bengals running back Samaje Perine also had his best game of the season with 100 scrimmage yards and a touchdown, so Brown could face more competition for touches in a Bengals backfield that's trending up ahead of a Week 9 home game against the Bears.

  • Bengals' Chase Brown: Seven catches in loss

Brown rushed the ball eight times for 27 yards in Sunday's 37-24 loss to the Lions. He added seven receptions on eight targets for 21 yards. The Bengals were scripted out of the run game early on, as they were down by multiple scores for three quarters of the game. Brown had another uninspiring game as a rusher as a result, though he did earn his most involvement as a pass catcher this season. The end result won't provide any reassurance for fantasy managers moving forward, but Brown did deliver a serviceable performance in PPR formats.

  • Bengals' Chase Brown: Efficient with 13 touches in loss

Brown rushed 10 times for 40 yards and brought in all three targets for 31 yards in the Bengals' 28-3 loss to the Broncos on Monday night. Brown's opportunities were limited by game script, but he turned in his most efficient performance of the season as both runner and receiver. Prior to Monday night, Brown hadn't averaged more than 2.9 yards per carry in his first three contests, and his 10.3 yards per catch versus Denver edged the 9.0 figure he'd mustered on two grabs Week 2 against the Jaguars. The Bengals offense appears stuck in the mud over its first two full games with Jake Browning at the helm, however, so Brown's fantasy prospects remain muted heading into a Week 5 home matchup against a tough Lions defense.

  • Bengals' Chase Brown: Disappears in Week 3 loss

Brown rushed 10 times for three yards and brought in four of five targets for 17 yards in the Bengals' 48-10 loss to the Vikings on Sunday. He also fumbled once but recovered. Brown's final rushing line tells the tale of both limited opportunities due to game script and next to no running room against a talented Vikings front seven. The third-year back's rush attempts and rushing yardage totals were unsurprisingly season-low figures, and Brown could only very modestly make up for the shortfall with his work through the air. The Bengals will look for a reset in a Week 4 road matchup against the Broncos, but that presents as another extremely challenging matchup for Cincinnati's Jake Browning-led offense as a whole.

  • Bengals' Chase Brown: Dominates rushing workload

Brown rushed the ball 21 times for 43 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 17-16 win over the Browns. He added two receptions on three targets for eight yards. The Bengals' offense was sluggish in their Week 1 win, and Brown's performance was a mix of positive and negative. He was very inefficient, averaging only 2.0 yards per carry with a long gain of eight yards. On the other hand, Brown was the only Bengals running back to get a carry, and he also converted a one-yard touchdown at the goal line. While the stat line wasn't particularly strong, Brown's usage will keep him locked in as one of the best fantasy options at the position.

  • Bengals' Chase Brown: Officially inactive Saturday

Brown (ankle) is inactive for Saturday's game at Pittsburgh. Brown suffered a right ankle sprain near the end of regulation of last Saturday's overtime win versus the Broncos. Despite the running back not practicing during Week 18 prep, there was some hope that he'd be available this Saturday, as offensive coordinator Dan Pitcher noted to Ben Baby of ESPN.com on Monday. Officially listed as questionable, Brown's availability was subject to a game-day decision, per Kelsey Conway of The Cincinnati Enquirer via coach Zac Taylor. During his pregame warmup, Brown's right ankle was heavily taped, per Bridget Condon of NFL Network, but his attempts to cut on the ankle seemingly didn't go well, according to Condon. With his lack of availability now confirmed for Saturday's contest, Brown will hand off the Bengals backfield to Khalil Herbert, who will be backed up by Trayveon Williams and Kendall Milton.

  • Bengals' Chase Brown: Trending toward absence Saturday

Brown (ankle) isn't expected to play Saturday at Pittsburgh, Jordan Schultz of Fox Sports reports. Brown emerged from last Saturday's overtime victory against the Broncos with a sprained right ankle, which didn't allow him to practice during Week 18 prep. Still, the Bengals gave him a chance to suit up this weekend by listing him as questionable on their final injury report Thursday. In the end, Brown went through a pregame workout that may not have gone well when he attempted to cut, per Bridget Condon of NFL Network. Cincinnati will confirm Brown's status once the team posts its inactive list about 90 minutes before an 8:00 p.m. ET kickoff, but it appears as if Khalil Herbert will be the Bengals' lead running back Saturday.

  • Bengals' Chase Brown: Not practicing Thursday

Brown (ankle) was spotted working out with trainers off to the side during Thursday's practice, Ben Baby of ESPN.com reports. Brown hasn't logged any practice activity this week, and he appears to be trending toward being listed as a non-participant on Thursday's injury report. Once practice concludes, the Bengals will reveal whether Brown carries a designation into Saturday's game against the Steelers. If Brown ultimately can't play Saturday, the Bengals would turn to Khalil Herbert to lead their backfield.

  • Bengals' Chase Brown: Sits out walk-through practice

Brown (ankle) didn't participate Tuesday in the Bengals' walk-through practice, Jay Morrison of SI.com reports. Brown is tending to what's believed to be a mild right high-ankle sprain, which he suffered late in this past Saturday's 30-24 overtime win over the Broncos. Bengals offensive coordinator Dan Pitcher said Monday that he's hoping Brown will be ready to play in Saturday's regular-season finale in Pittsburgh. If Brown is forced to sit out the Week 18 contest, Khalil Herbert would likely serve as the Bengals' top option out of the backfield.
