After leading North Carolina to its sixth national college basketball championship, Tar Heels coach Roy Williams is a pretty popular guy in North Carolina.
On Tuesday night, Williams threw out the first pitch for the UNC baseball team before its game vs. South Carolina at BB&T Ballpark in Charlotte, North Carolina. And unlike you might envision, the 66-year-old rifled one in right down the pipe, calling his own strike standing on the mound.

When you're the king of the state, you can be the pitcher and the umpire. Life is good for Williams. He must be a good omen, too. The Tar Heels trounced rival South Carolina 20-5 to win their ninth straight game.
