Thaiss was reassigned to minor league camp Thursday, Jeff Fletcher of the Orange County Register reports.
Thaiss's bat was as good as ever at spring training. Over 10 games, he went 5-for-11 and drew two walks. It should become clear where the 21-year-old will start the 2017 season in the coming weeks, but he'll likely be sent to High-A Inland Empire or Double-A Mobile.
