DeBrincat was placed in the NHL's COVID-19 protocol Monday. Because DeBrincat won't be able to travel or practice while on the protocol list, he'll almost certainly miss both Tuesday and Wednesday in Nashville. The 5-foot-7 winger is second on the team with six points through six games. Matthew Highmore and Lucas Wallmark are two forwards that could replace DeBrincat assuming he does miss time.

DeBrincat posted two assists, four shots on goal, two hits and a pair of blocked shots in Friday's 4-1 win over the Red Wings. DeBrincat assisted on power-play tallies by Patrick Kane in the first period and Andrew Shaw in the third. Most of DeBrincat's production has come with the man advantage -- four of his five points have been on the power play. The 23-year-old winger has added 12 shots on goal with a minus-3 rating in five contests. His non-scoring contributions are often minimal, making Friday's juicy stat line a little surprising.

DeBrincat scored a power-play goal on four shots and went minus-2 in Sunday's 5-2 loss to the Panthers. DeBrincat netted a power-play tally for the second straight game, and he now has three points in as many outings this year. He's added eight shots but also carries a minus-4 rating. DeBrincat's in fine scoring form to start the year, so he's worth playing in most fantasy formats, and especially those that disregard the plus-minus metric.

DeBrincat scored a power-play goal and added an assist in Friday's 5-2 loss to the Lightning. Factoring in on both of Chicago's goals, DeBrincat was one of the better players on the losing team Friday. He still finished minus-2, but that could be a common theme on a Blackhawks team that will struggle to keep pucks out of its own net. DeBrincat will feature in a top-six role in 2020-21 after posting 45 points in 70 contests last season. The 23-year-old winger will also operate on the top power-play unit.

DeBrincat scored a goal on four shots and added four hits in Tuesday's 4-3 loss to Vegas in Game 5. DeBrincat's tally gave the Blackhawks a 2-0 lead in the first period, but it wouldn't hold up. The winger produced two goals and four helpers in nine postseason games. DeBrincat also had 13 hits, 27 shots and a plus-4 rating.
