Stars are dropping like flies for Team USA with the Rio Olympics less than two months out. LeBron James made it official that he's out on Thursday, joining names like Stephen Curry, Russell Westbrook, Chris Paul, Blake Griffin and James Harden who are out for one reason or another.

Now San Antonio Spurs star Kawhi Leonard has pulled his name out of contention as well, which leaves Team USA searching for a little more top talent to pair with Kevin Durant, Carmelo Anthony and company.

From the Spurs:

San Antonio Spurs forward Kawhi Leonard today announced that he has withdrawn his name from consideration for the 2016 USA Basketball Men's National Team.

"This was a very difficult decision. It's an honor to have been considered for the team and I hope that in the future I will have the chance to represent my country by playing for USA Basketball."

Leonard joins Gordon Hayward as another player not joining his fellow countrymen for the search of basketball gold. Paul George committed to Team USA, joining Durant, Anthony, DeMarcus Cousins, Jimmy Butler, Draymond Green, and Kyle Lowry.

Kawhi Leonard won't be defending against the world this summer.
