The Ball brothers officially have new representation. On Monday, Roc Nation Sports announced the signing of Lonzo Ball, LaMelo Ball and LiAngelo Ball. LaMelo is widely expected to be a top pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, while Lonzo is in the midst of his first season with the New Orleans Pelicans. LiAngelo currently plays for the Oklahoma City Blue of the G League.

"This was a family decision," LaMelo's manager, Jermaine Jackson said in April, via ESPN. "This is now an extended family. They put together a beautiful game plan with Jay-Z. The basketball game is about to change. They are going to create something totally new."

The Ball brothers spoke with several agencies, but ultimately they liked the fit with Jay-Z and Roc Nation Sports.

"We talked to several agents, but the family had good vibes with Roc Nation," Jackson said. "I've known Jay-Z since I played for the Knicks, but this is what the kids wanted to do. Jay-Z is a master at what he does. He's global. It's power beyond power... This is something that they are building from the ground up together. They are brothers and they love each other and that's how they roll. It's all love. They don't separate from each other."

The patriarch of the Ball family, LaVar, supports his sons' decision to sign with Roc Nation Sports as he sees the two sides as on the same page.

"If everything goes right, this thing can be explosive,"  LaVar said of the deal, via TMZ. "I think you have to go through different agencies to see the one that you need that's going to have the same mindset as you. I feel that Roc Nation is trying to move in a direction that we moving in."

Under the new deal, Roc Nation Sports will be in charge of marketing opportunities for the Ball brothers, including sneaker contracts for Lonzo, and LaMelo. LaMelo will be on the receiving end of a lot of offers given the fact that he is expected to be a very high pick in the upcoming draft. The list of other NBA players currently signed to Roc Nation Sports includes Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, Rudy Gay, Danny Green, and Markelle Fultz
