Pearce (elbow) underwent successful surgery Wednesday, Roch Kubatko of MASN reports.
Pearce had to get the flexor mass tendon in his elbow operated on Wednesday, but everything went according to plan per the Orioles. Wednesday's procedure will obviously wipe out the rest of Pearce's season, but he could theoretically be ready for the start of the 2017 season.
