Penguins' Jansen Harkins: Shifts to LTIR

Harkins (hand) was placed on long-term injured reserve Saturday, according to CapFriendly.

Harkins is out indefinitely after undergoing hand surgery Friday. He won't be eligible to play until at least April following his placement on the LTIR list. Harkins has picked up four assists and 73 hits in 43 games this season.
