Stone (upper body) will not travel with the team for their final game of the season against Boston on Saturday, Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun reports.
Stone will now focus on getting healthy for the 2016 IIHF World Championship in May. Team Canada would certainly benefit from having the 23-year-old on their squad as he tallied three goals and six assists in his last 10 contests before the injury bug struck. It was a solid season for the winger, who averaged .813 points per game and offers solid fantasy value.
