Player Outlook
When it comes to Fantasy kickers, Bass is among the best at his position, and he should be drafted as a top-five option with a last-round pick in all leagues. Bass has been Buffalo's kicker for two seasons, and he has two years in a row with at least 28 field goals and 51 PATs. He also has six kicks of at least 50 yards. The Bills offense is among the best in the NFL, and Bass should again have plenty of chances to score. Bass is a candidate to be the No. 1 overall kicker in Fantasy in 2022.

  • Bills' Tyler Bass: Big numbers in second season

Bass finished the 2021 season with 135 points, converting on 28 of 32 field-goal attempts and all 51 of his extra-point tries. Missing only four of 83 kicks is pretty amazing considering the conditions Bass faces in Buffalo, and he's proven to be worth a rare draft selection as a placekicker -- he was chosen in the sixth round of the 2020 Draft. The point total landed Bass in a tie for sixth in the league, and there's little reason to suspect he won't be a top-10 guy again next season given the high-powered offense supporting him, one with an elite quarterback that isn't going anywhere for the next several seasons.

  • Bills' Tyler Bass: Low total in flukey game

Bass made all three of his extra-point tries during Sunday's 29-15 win over the Falcons. He did not have a field-goal attempt. The scoring got a bit crooked when the Falcons picked up a safety to open the scoring, which caused the Bills to go for two at one point when it made sense to do so. Couple that with Buffalo's red-zone success in the contest and Bass was used only slightly more than punter Matt Haack, who somehow hasn't had a single punt in the last two games. Bass, who sits in a tie for seventh in kicker scoring following Week 17, gets a great matchup to finish the regular season, with the Bills hosting the Jets on Sunday afternoon.

  • Bills' Tyler Bass: Chips in during major win

Bass put up nine points in Sunday's 33-21 victory over the Patriots, converting both field-goal tries and all three of his extra-point attempts. Bass and the Bills got some revenge on their division rival from what was an awful performance in a humbling loss three weeks ago. Bass has been perfect since that game, making all five field-goal tries and all 10 extra-point attempts over the last three games. The second-year kicker is now up to 123 points on the season, good for fourth in the league. Barring a winter snowstorm, he'll get two nice opportunities to add to that total with juicy home matchups against the Falcons and Jets to finish the regular season.

  • Bills' Tyler Bass: Posts seven in easy win

Bass made his only field-goal try and all four extra-point attempts in Sunday's 31-14 win over the Panthers. Bass's accuracy has been fantastic just about all season, as he's made 24 of 28 field-goal attempts and is perfect on 42 extra points. Wise fantasy managers have used Bass to ride the coattails of a strong Buffalo offense the past two seasons. If that's helped result in a deep playoff run into Week 16, the bummer is it's a road trip to New England this week. If you can get past that awful matchup, the Bills get a nice finish to the season with home games against the Falcons and Jets.

  • Bills' Tyler Bass: Flawless in tight loss

Bass made both of his field-goal attempts and all three extra-point tries during Sunday's overtime loss to the Buccaneers. Bass's nine points were the most he's put up since Week 10, as he was needed often during the Bills' second-half scoring surge. Bass now sits in a tie for fifth among NFL kickers with 107 points on the season. While he kicks for a bad weather team that has three home games left on the slate, that's likely offset by the team's ease of schedule, as Buffalo faces Carolina, Atlanta and the Jets in three of the final four weeks.

  • Bills' Tyler Bass: Costly miss in divisional loss

Bass was 1-for-2 on field-goal attempts and converted his only extra-point try in Monday's 14-10 loss to the Patriots. The fourth-quarter miss -- while understandable given the outrageous winds -- really hurt the Bills, as on their next (and final) drive they were well into New England territory but now needed a touchdown to win instead of a field goal, had Bass converted on the previous drive. The four-point output represents Bass's second-lowest game of the season, while his 98 points on the campaign sits tied for fifth among kickers. He'll get a better opportunity to score more and not have winds blowing the ball all over the stadium when the Bills meet the defending champion Buccaneers in Week 14.

  • Bills' Tyler Bass: Flawless in easy win

Bass made his only field-goal attempt and all four extra-point tries in Thursday's 31-6 win over the Saints. Like the rest of his team, Bass got back on the horse following a forgettable performance in a blowout loss to the Colts in Week 11. Bass is 20-for-23 on field-goal attempts and a perfect 34-for-34 on extra-point tries this season and sits third among kickers in scoring heading into the weekend.

  • Bills' Tyler Bass: Roughest outing of season

Bass missed both field-goal attempts and converted his only extra-point try during Sunday's 41-15 loss to the Colts. The field-goal misses were Bass's first misfires since he missed his only attempt all the way back in Week 2, and to be fair, one of them Sunday was a 57-yarder that doinked the upright. Plain and simple, it just wasn't Bass's day (or any other Bill for that matter in the humiliating loss), and he remains a top kicker for fantasy purposes. The one-point outing did drop him down to third in league scoring at 87 points, though he remains second among kickers behind only Nick Folk.

  • Bills' Tyler Bass: Notches nine points

Bass made his only field-goal attempt as well as all six of his extra-point tries in Sunday's 45-17 win over the Jets. Bass converted from 29 yards on his lone field goal, which along with a bevy of PATs helped bring his season total to 86 points, placing second league-wide among kickers.

  • Bills' Tyler Bass: Flawless in team's imperfect game

Bass connected on both of his field-goal tries in Sunday's 9-6 upset loss to Jacksonville. While the team's performance was maddening for Bills fans, the second-year kicker has not been a problem at all this season. The Georgia Southern product has made 18 of 19 field-goal attempts and all 23 of his extra-point tries. Bass sits third in NFL scoring behind only Nick Folk and Matt Gay.

  • Bills' Tyler Bass: Maintains steady trigger

Bass connected on both field-goal attempts and both extra-point tries during Sunday's 26-11 win over the Dolphins. The second-year kicker continues to produce on an offense that has plenty of weapons to keep the scoreboard operator busy, while he's proven quite accurate in his young career. Bass is a near perfect 16-for-17 on field-goal attempt on the season and has made all 23 of his extra-point tries. That's Justin Tucker territory. Bass' 71 points currently sits second in the league, trailing only Nick Folk's 76.

  • Bills' Tyler Bass: Notches 11 points

Bass made all three of his field-goal attempts and both of his extra-point tries in Monday night's 34-31 loss to the Titans. Bass converted from 24 and 52 yards on his respective field goals, continuing his superb start to the season. Heading into the Bills' bye week, he's missed just one of 36 total attempts, racking up an NFL-best 63 points at his position.

  • Bills' Tyler Bass: Keeps piling up points

Bass made all four of his field-goal attempts and all four extra-point tries in Sunday's 40-0 blowout win over the Texans, good for 16 points. An accurate kicker in a high-powered offense is the perfect combo in fantasy, and Bass keeps chugging along with points each week. Bass's 44 points leads all fantasy kickers heading into the Monday night game, while he's 10-for-11 on field-goal attempts and has hit all 14 of his extra-point tries.

  • Bills' Tyler Bass: Big Week 3

Bass made all three field-goal attempts and all four extra-point tries in Sunday's 43-21 win over Washington. Almost everyone got in on the party for the Bills on Sunday, and Bass was no exception, posting his second double-digit outing of the young season and his best game to date. On the season, Bass is almost perfect, connecting on six of seven field-goal tries and all 10 extra-point attempts. Bass's 28 points currently puts him into a tie for fifth among kickers.

  • Bills' Tyler Bass: Modest Week 2

Bass made all five of his extra-point tries and missed his only field-goal attempt (a 53-yarder) in Buffalo's win over the Dolphins on Sunday. The five points is pretty disappointing when your team puts up 35, but that comes with the territory as the Bills were producing nothing but touchdowns vs. the helpless Dolphins. At least Bass managers got five more points than those of Jason Sanders on the other side of the box score. Through two contests, Bass has a modest 15 points while going 3-for-4 on field goals and 6-for-6 in extra points.

  • Bills' Tyler Bass: Flawless Week 1

Bass made all three of his field-goal attempts -- from 37, 25 and 42 yards -- and his only extra-point try in Sunday's loss to the Steelers. Bass was a big point producer in his 2020 rookie campaign, finishing fourth among NFL kickers while augmenting the high-powered Buffalo offense quite nicely. While the Bills struggled Sunday against a well-developed Pittsburgh game plan, Bass converted on his chances and is one of only eight kickers to post double-digit points heading into the Monday game. He'd need a terrible rough stretch to put his job in any peril; in fact, the Bills didn't even bring in competition this summer since it's clear the the 2020 sixth-rounder is the team's long-term solution.

  • Bills' Tyler Bass: Rough night for kickers

Bass converted just one of three-field goal attempts while making both of his extra-point tries in Saturday's playoff win over the Ravens. This was one of the more brutal wind conditions the NFL has seen in a big game, and both kickers paid the price. Justin Tucker, arguably the greatest kicker in this generation, doinked two off the uprights and finished with the same 1-of-3 line as Bass. The rookie will get at least one more game to finish on a positive note in what's been a decent debut season, though weather could also be an issue with either Buffalo or Kansas City being the two possible venues for the AFC Championship Game.

  • Bills' Tyler Bass: Racks up PATs

Bass did not attempt a field goal but made all eight of his extra-point tries in Sunday's 56-26 win over the Dolphins. Bass was busy Sunday thanks to another highly efficient performance from his offense. With eight more points, Bass finished the regular season with 141 total, placing fourth among kickers league-wide despite being a rookie. The total is also a new Bills record for points in a season by any player.

  • Bills' Tyler Bass: Stays true in dominant win

Bass made his lone field-goal attempt -- a 22-yarder -- as well as all five of his extra-point tries in Monday's 38-9 win over the Patriots. Bass has been the recipient of extra opportunities lately as the Buffalo offense is clicking on all cylinders. He's also started to put together a nice stat line following a rocky start to his rookie season, as he now sits with a 28-for-34 (82 percent) mark on field-goal attempts and is 49-of-51 on extra-point tries. Bass is fourth in the league in scoring with 133 points.

  • Bills' Tyler Bass: Misses extra point

Bass made both of his field-goal attempts but missed one of three extra-point tries in Sunday night's 26-15 win over the Steelers. Bass had missed just one PAT entering Sunday's contest but misfired with his first attempt from that distance on the night. In converting from 34 and 23 yards on his field goals, however, Bass still put together his fifth straight game with at least eight points. That stretch has brought him up to 113 points on the campaign, placing him fifth among kickers league-wide.
