Commanders' Noah Brown: Has Week 14 designation removed
After the Commanders activated Brown (groin/knee) from injured reserve Saturday, they removed his designation for Sunday's game in Minnesota.
Brown now is available for his first game action since Week 2 after recovering from dueling groin and knee injuries. He'll be working with QB Jayden Daniels (left elbow), who will be back for the first time since Week 9, but the presence of fellow WRs Terry McLaurin and Deebo Samuel will make targets tougher to come by for Brown. In 13 regular-season appearances with Washington over the last two campaigns, Brown gathered in 38 of 63 targets for 489 yards and one touchdown.

Commanders' Noah Brown: Comes off IR, still questionable
The Commanders activated Brown (groin/knee) from injured reserve Saturday, but he remains questionable for Sunday's game in Minnesota.
Brown thus is poised for his first action since Week 2, as he seeks to put an end to a 10-game absence due to groin and knee injuries. The Commanders are turning back to second-year QB Jayden Daniels after he completed his recovery from a dislocated left elbow, so the passing game is as close to 100 percent as it has been since the very early stages of the campaign. Brown will be operating behind the top WR duo of Terry McLaurin and Deebo Samuel on Sunday, assuming he's made active about 90 minutes before a 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff.

Commanders' Drake Jackson: Ruled out for Week 14
Jackson (knee) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Vikings, John Keim of ESPN.com reports.
Jackson is still recovering from a serious knee injury that has sidelined him for each of the last two seasons. He's no longer on IR, so he can suit up any time, though he wasn't able to practice in any capacity this week.

Commanders' George Fant: Out with knee issue
Fant (knee) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Vikings, John Keim of ESPN.com reports.
Fant hasn't spent any time on the injury report prior to this week, but he apparently suffered a knee injury during practice Thursday. He was unable to practice Friday and has now been ruled out for Sunday's matchup against Minnesota.

Commanders' Bobby Wagner: Questionable after limited session
Wagner (knee) is listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's game against the Vikings, John Keim of ESPN.com reports.
Wagner was able to log a limited practice session Friday after being a non-participant earlier in the week. The upgrade in participation is a good sign for the veteran's chances of suiting up for Sunday's game. If the middle linebacker is unable to go, 24-year-old Jordan Magee is set to have a larger role in the linebacker corps Sunday.

Commanders' Marcus Mariota: Returning to backup role
Mariota will serve as Washington's backup quarterback Sunday against the Vikings, as John Keim of ESPN.com reports that Jayden Daniels (elbow) will start.
Daniels will return for his first action since dislocating his left elbow Nov. 9. Mariota has seen extensive action due to Daniels' injury woes in 2025, as the veteran backup has appeared in eight of Washington's 12 games, including six starts. Mariota has posted a 9:6 TD:INT but picked up only one win.

Commanders' Noah Brown: Questionable but still on IR
Brown (groin/knee/rest) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Vikings, John Keim of ESPN.com reports.
Brown practiced without limitations Wednesday and Thursday but didn't take part Friday, though Friday's absence appears to have been for rest purposes. He'll need to be officially activated from injured reserve prior to Sunday's game in order to suit up, but Keim expects that transaction to take place Saturday, which would pave the way for Brown to suit up for the first time since Week 2.

Commanders' Bobby Wagner: Questionable for Week 14
Wagner (knee) is listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Vikings, Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post reports.
Wagner opened the Commanders' week of practice with consecutive DNPs after likely sustaining a knee injury in the Week 13 loss to the Broncos. The 35-year-old has been integral part of the Commanders' defense, recording 115 total tackles (fourth-most in the NFL), including 2.0 sacks, and three passes defensed, with two interceptions, across 12 appearances this season. If he's forced to miss his first game of the year in Week 14, expect Jordan Magee to have a larger role in Washington's linebacker corps.
