Commanders' Marcus Mariota: Will get another start
Mariota will start at quarterback for the Commanders in Sunday's game against the Colts in London, Nicki Jhabvala of The Athletic reports.
Jayden Daniels (elbow) practiced this week but was ruled out for Week 4, so Mariota will start under center for the second time in as many weeks. Mariota threw for only 183 yards but tossed three touchdowns in his team's Week 3 victory over the Seahawks, and he will now square off against a Colts team that ranks 30th in the league in passing yards allowed per game.

Commanders' Jayden Daniels: Ruled out for Week 4
Daniels (elbow), per head coach Dan Quinn, was ruled out for Sunday's game against the Colts in London, Nicki Jhabvala of The Athletic reports.
Daniels was able to practice on a limited basis this week -- "a huge step," Quinn said also via Jhabvala -- but the Commanders will sideline him for a second straight contest and give Marcus Mariota another start. It's unclear exactly how close Daniels is to returning to the field, but the door is seemingly open for him to get back out there in Week 5 against the Giants.

Commanders' Rachaad White: Sits out another practice
White (shoulder) did not participate in Friday's practice session.
White's shoulder injury prevented him from taking part in Washington's first two practices of the week, and per head coach Dan Quinn it also prevented him from getting any reps Friday. The team has not yet released its final injury report for Week 4, but it's looking like White will be unavailable for Sunday's matchup with the Colts in London.

Both Sinnott and Chig Okonkwo (hamstring) remained limited Thursday after being estimated as limited participants during Wednesday's walkthrough. Sinnott failed to capitalize on Okonkwo's absence over the previous two games, recording just one catch for six yards on two targets over that span. If Sinnott suits up Sunday against the Colts, most of his contributions will come as a blocker.

Okonkwo was estimated to be a limited participant at Wednesday's walk-through, and his status remained unchanged the following day. The offseason acquisition hurt his hamstring in his Commanders debut and hasn't suited up since, but Okonkwo has a chance to return for Sunday's game against the Colts in London. Once cleared for action, Okonkwo figures to reclaim his spot atop the tight end depth chart.

Daniels (elbow) remained limited at practice Thursday, John Keim of ESPN.com reports.
Daniels has been limited both Wednesday and Thursday as the Commanders prepare to face the Colts in London on Sunday. The 2024 second overall pick said he believes he will be able to play through the injury to his non-throwing elbow while wearing a brace, though surgery could be an option after the season. Marcus Mariota, who led the Commanders to a Week 3 upset win over the Seahawks in Daniels' absence, remains in the mix to start against the Colts as well.

White (shoulder) isn't practicing again Thursday, Tashan Reed of The Washington Post reports.
White is sitting out a second consecutive practice ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Colts in London, which will kick off at 9:30 a.m. ET. If White is unable to suit up, the recently signed Austin Ekeler could slot in for passing-down work in a Commanders backfield that also includes Jacory Croskey-Merritt and Kaytron Allen.
