Sabres' Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen: Assigned to AHL

Luukkonen (lower body) joined AHL Rochester on Wednesday.

Luukkonen will rejoin AHL Rochester looking to build upon his 6-6-0 record, 3.42 GAA and .888 save percentage over 12 games this season, presumably as he finishes his recovery from a lower-body injury. The-22-year-old will be a candidate to be recalled only if Craig Anderson or Dustin Tokarski loses playing eligibility.
