Forsberg will not dress Friday in Anaheim, as he has a minor lower-body injury, TSN 1200 Ottawa reports.
With Forsberg on the shelf, Kevin Mandolese has been recalled to serve as Cam Talbot's backup against the Ducks on Friday. At this point, Forsberg can be considered day-to-day with his minor injury.
