Shedrick Jackson appears ready for the stardom that comes with being a college football player in the SEC.

Jackson is already a highly-recruited, three-star wide receiver from the Class of 2018 with double-digit offers, as well as a state champion at Hoover High. But he's also known around the area as kin to Auburn football legend Bo Jackson, Shedrick's great-uncle.

Jackson linked up with AL.com for a high-quality commitment video that does not shy from the connection, committing to an "it runs in the family" theme during the two-minute presentation.

The 6-foot-1, 195-pound receiver chose Auburn over Mississippi State, Missouri and Georgia Tech. According to 247Sports, Jackson's been putting up great numbers during workouts on the camp circuit earlier this year and "that athleticism is one reason Jackson shot up Auburn's board."
