Will Putnam LV C
Raiders' Will Putnam: Officially returning to Raiders
1h agoPutnam signed his exclusive-rights free-agent tender with Las Vegas on Monday, Ryan McFadden of ESPN.com reports.
Putnam was a key rotational part of the Raiders' offensive line last season. He started two of the 15 games in which he appeared and will likely serve in a similar role during the upcoming campaign.
-
Winston Reid CLE LB
Browns' Winston Reid: Remaining with Browns
1h agoReid signed his exclusive-rights free-agent tender with Cleveland on Monday.
Reid didn't play at all last season after suffering a back injury in late August. However, the Weber State product worked his way up to a pretty big role as a rookie in 2024, though most of his work came on special teams. If Reid is back to full health and is able to make the roster ahead of the upcoming campaign, he'll likely reprise his role as a depth option and special-teamer.

Jamari Thrash CLE WR
Browns' Jamari Thrash: Returning to Browns
1h agoThrash signed his exclusive-rights free-agent tender with Cleveland on Monday.
Thrash showed slight improvement in his second NFL campaign last year, catching 10 of 15 passes for 107 yards over nine games after reeling in just three of seven passes across the same number of contests the previous season. However, he was also a healthy scratch on multiple occasions and was waived before being quickly re-signed in mid-December, so his role on the team was very shaky. There's room to push up Cleveland's wideout depth chart, which will likely be Thrash's goal for 2026.
-
Andre Szmyt CLE K
Browns' Andre Szmyt: Coming back to Cleveland
2h agoSzmyt signed his exclusive-rights free-agent tender with the Browns on Monday.
Szmyt had a successful first NFL campaign last season, converting 24 of 27 field-goal attempts (including going 5-of-6 from 50-plus yards) and 25 of 26 extra-point tries. He didn't miss a field goal following the Browns' Week 9 bye, going 14-for-14 over the team's final nine games. Szmyt will head into training camp as Cleveland's clear primary kicker.
-
Malachi Corley CLE WR
Browns' Malachi Corley: Officially back with Browns
2h agoCorley signed his exclusive-rights free-agent tender Monday.
Corley joined Cleveland late last August after being waived by the Jets. The Western Kentucky product ended up playing 13 games with the Browns, recording 11 receptions on 14 targets for 79 yards. Corley also featured as the team's lead kick returner, taking 21 returns for 492 yards. He'll likely fill a similar role during the upcoming season.
-
Brenden Bates CLE TE
Browns' Brenden Bates: Signs ERFA tender
2h agoBates signed his exclusive-rights free-agent tender with Cleveland on Monday.
Bates began last season with Houston before the Browns signed him off waivers in late October. The tight end out of Kentucky played in six contes with Cleveland, catching two of three targets for 25 yards. Bates should compete for a depth role next season, but though long-time starter David Njoku was released in March, Harold Fannin (groin) has a strong grip on the Browns' primary tight-end duties.

Orion Kerkering PHI RP
Phillies' Orion Kerkering: Expected to return Tuesday
6m agoKerkering (hamstring) has rejoined the team and is expected to be activated from the 15-day injured list ahead of Tuesday's game against the Giants, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.
Kerkering joined the club in San Francisco earlier in the day Monday, but he'll need to wait one more day before being brought off the 15-day IL. He recently pitched on back-to-back days for Triple-A Lehigh Valley and made his final rehab appearance Saturday, where he struck out two and gave up one hit in a scoreless frame against Triple-A Durham.
-
Joe Ross ARI RP
Joe Ross: Will test free agency
11m agoRoss elected free agency Monday.
Ross was designated for assignment by the Diamondbacks on Friday, and rather than accept an assignment with Triple-A Reno, he'll search for an opportunity elsewhere. He surrendered eight runs on seven hits and four walks while striking out two over 3.2 frames in three appearances for Arizona before he was DFA'd.
-
Austin Hays CHW LF
White Sox's Austin Hays: Departs early Monday
45m agoHays was lifted from Monday's game against the Orioles due to a right hamstring strain.
Hays pulled up early on an attempt to chase down a ball hit down the line in the top of the fourth inning, and he was forced to exit immediately after the play. The White Sox are calling the injury a right hamstring strain, and he'll be sent for further evaluation to determine if a trip to the injured list is warranted.
-
Gabriel Arias CLE SS
Guardians' Gabriel Arias: Nursing hamstring issue
1h agoArias was removed from Monday's game against Kansas City due to left hamstring tightness, Tim Stebbins of MLB.com reports.
It's unclear at this time whether Arias will require a stint on the injured list. The Guardians will presumably send their starting shortstop for further testing before providing an update on his availability for Tuesday and beyond.
-
Noble Meyer MIA SP
Marlins' Noble Meyer: Suffers shoulder strain
1h agoMeyer has a shoulder strain and will be out 12-to-16 weeks, the Marlins' television broadcast reports.
Meyer was the Marlins' first-round pick in 2023, but his career has failed to launch so far. He was able to pitch 65.1 innings last year at High-A Beloit, posting a 4.41 ERA and 1.40 WHIP. He's posted high strikeout and high walk rates throughout his professional career.
-

Marlins' Thomas White: Another rehab start on tap
1h agoWhite (oblique) will make his second rehab assignment for Single-A Jupiter on Wednesday, the Marlins' television broadcast reports.
White made it through 2.1 innings in his first outing, allowing two runs on two hits and a walk while striking out four. He'll ultimately end up at Triple-A Jacksonville once he's up to speed.

-
Victor Wembanyama SA C
Spurs' Victor Wembanyama: Returns Monday
19m agoWembanyama (arm) returned to Monday's game against the 76ers with 5:33 remaining in the second quarter, per the broadcast.
Wembanyama exited to the locker room in the second quarter due to an apparent right arm injury. However, he returned to the bench shortly thereafter and appears to be good to go the rest of the way.
-
Jamal Cain ORL SF
Magic's Jamal Cain: Doubtful to return Monday
21m agoCain is doubtful to return to Monday's game against the Pistons due to a left calf contusion, Cody Taylor of USA Today reports.
Cain logged just over 11 minutes before exiting due to the calf injury. If he's unable to return, he'll finish with three points (1-1 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 0-2 FT), two rebounds and one assist.
-
Mitchell Robinson NY C
Knicks' Mitchell Robinson: Limps to locker room
26m agoRobinson exited to the locker room in the third quarter of Monday's game against the Hawks due to an apparent lower-body injury, Steve Popper of Newsday reports.
Robinson took a hard fall and hobbled to the bench before being evaluated by a trainer. He eventually limped to the locker room and can be considered questionable to return until further notice.
-
Victor Wembanyama SA C
Spurs' Victor Wembanyama: Heads to locker room
36m agoWembanyama went to the locker room during the second quarter of Monday's game against the 76ers with an apparent right arm injury, Jared Weiss of The Athletic reports.

Castle exited to the locker room with 6:13 remaining in the first quarter after colliding with an opposing player. However, the second-year guard returned to the bench shortly thereafter and appears to be good to go for the remainder of the contest.
-
Parker Ford WPG C
Jets' Parker Ford: Sent to minors
2h agoFord was loaned to AHL Manitoba on Monday.
Over four games with the Jets since being recalled from the minors on an emergency basis March 27, Ford registered seven hits and three shots while averaging 9:33 of ice time. The 25-year-old will link back up with the Moose, with whom he's produced six goals, 21 points and a plus-5 rating across 45 appearances in 2025-26.
-
Philipp Grubauer SEA G
Kraken's Philipp Grubauer: Patrolling road paint
2h agoGrubauer will draw the road start in Monday's contest against the Jets, per the NHL Media Site.
Grubauer will grab his second consecutive start Monday after falling to the Blackhawks on Saturday. With Monday's start, he will have appeared in five of Seattle's last six games and is slowly taking the No. 1 goaltender spot away from Joey Daccord. Overall, Grubauer has a 13-11-4 record, a 2.59 GAA and a .910 save percentage across 31 appearances this season. He'll face off against the Jets, who rank 25th in the NHL with 2.80 goals per game this season.
-
Scott Sabourin TB RW
Lightning's Scott Sabourin: Back in action Monday
3h agoSabourin (lower body) will play in Monday's road game against the Sabres, per Eduardo A. Encina of the Tampa Bay Times.
Sabourin will return to Tampa Bay's lineup after missing each of the team's last two games. Overall, the 33-year-old winger has four points, 89 shots on net and 52 hits across 22 games this season. He'll rejoin the Lightning's fourth line as the center between Corey Perry and Mitchell Chaffee.
-
Noah Ostlund BUF C
Sabres' Noah Ostlund: Still out of lineup
3h agoOstlund (upper body) isn't an option for Monday's home contest versus the Lightning, according to Heather Engel of NHL.com.
Ostlund hasn't been in the lineup since March 25, and it remains to be seen how he is progressing in his recovery. The Sabres' next game is in the first half of a back-to-back on the road against the Rangers on Wednesday.
-
Anthony Cirelli TB C
Lightning's Anthony Cirelli: Unavailable in Buffalo
3h agoCirelli (undisclosed) will not suit up Monday in Buffalo and is day-to-day, per Eduardo A. Encina of the Tampa Bay Times.
Cirelli's absence coincides with Scott Sabourin's (lower body) return to the lineup. Nick Paul will work as the second-line center in Buffalo due to Cirelli being unavailable. The Lightning play in the second half of a back-to-back Tuesday in Ottawa, so Cirelli should be considered questionable, at best, for that matchup at this time.
-
Jackson Blake CAR RW
Hurricanes' Jackson Blake: Supplies two more assists
5h agoBlake notched two assists, including one on the power play, in Sunday's 6-3 loss to the Senators.
Blake has a goal and three helpers during his three-game point streak to begin April. The 22-year-old winger is up to 49 points, 165 shots on net, 40 PIM and a plus-3 rating through 77 appearances. He's taken a noticeable step up from his 34-point effort in 80 regular-season games as a rookie a year ago, and he should be a part of the Hurricanes' core for years to come.
