Patriots' TreVeyon Henderson: Makes early exit from Sunday's game
Rotowire
The Patriots ruled out Henderson (ankle) for the remainder of Sunday's game against the Raiders, Evan Lazar of the team's official site reports.
Initially considered questionable to return to the game after leaving in the second quarter due to the right ankle injury, Henderson didn't join the Patriots on the sideline to begin the second half before he was ruled out shortly after the third quarter got underway. He'll finish the afternoon with 22 yards on four carries to go with one catch for 16 yards. With Henderson sidelined for the rest of the contest, the Patriots will be left with Corey Kiner as their lone option behind No. 1 back Rhamondre Stevenson.

Patriots' TreVeyon Henderson: Suffers ankle injury in Week 5
Rotowire
Henderson suffered a right ankle injury during Sunday's game against the Raiders.
After a carry in the second quarter in which he endured an awkward tackle going out of bounds, Henderson limped to the locker room. The Patriots soon considered him questionable to return. Rhamondre Stevenson likely will take on the bulk of New England's backfield reps for as long as Henderson is sidelined, though Corey Kiner also is available for RB snaps.

Patriots' TreVeyon Henderson: Could have expanded role vs. Las Vegas
Rotowire
Henderson would operate as the Patriots' RB1 if Rhamondre Stevenson (knee, questionable) is unable to play against the Raiders on Sunday, Evan Lazar of the Patriots' official site reports.
Stevenson was limited in practice all week due to a knee injury, and while he expressed optimism on playing Friday, head coach Mike Vrabel was not quite ready to give the veteran running back the green light for Sunday's game, per Mark Daniels of MassLive.com. Stevenson's status for Week 5 will be worth a close watch, because if he's ruled out or is expected to operate under a snap count, then Henderson would be poised to take over as the Patriots' RB1 for at least one game. Henderson has a 38-141-1 rushing line through three games this season and has caught just one pass (on three targets) for six yards in that span.

Patriots' TreVeyon Henderson: RBs to Start
Rotowire
I'm speculating with this post that Henderson will be the primary running back for New England in Week 5 against Las Vegas since Rhamondre Stevenson (leg) left late in Week 4 against Buffalo and didn't practice Wednesday. Mike Vrabel said Stevenson still has a chance to play against the Raiders, but if he's out then Henderson would be a must-start running back in all leagues. Stevenson missed three games in 2025, and Henderson averaged 24.3 PPR points over that span, including two outings with at least 28 PPR points. Las Vegas has allowed two running backs to score at least 19.5 PPR points this season with Omarion Hampton in Week 2 and Kenneth Walker III in Week 4, and Henderson has the potential to be a top-10 Fantasy running back in all leagues if Stevenson is out.

Patriots' TreVeyon Henderson: Middling numbers in Week 4 win
Rotowire
Henderson rushed 14 times for 42 yards and failed to bring in either of his two targets in the Patriots' 29-26 win over the Bills on Sunday.
Henderson struggled to get anything going against an improved Bills run defense, averaging an even 3.0 yards per carry. The second-year pro logged one more carry than backfield mate Rhamondre Stevenson but finished with five fewer rushing yards, and through three games, Henderson is averaging a pedestrian 3.7 yards per tote while only adding one catch for six yards. The 2025 second-round pick's next opportunity for his first breakout effort of 2026 comes in a Week 5 home matchup against a vastly improved Raiders team.

Patriots' TreVeyon Henderson: Sleeper RBs
Rotowire
I'm curious to see what the Patriots will do with the workload for Rhamondre Stevenson and Henderson in Week 3 at Jacksonville. In Week 2 against Pittsburgh, which was Henderson's first game of the season after he missed Week 1 at Seattle with an ankle injury, he played more snaps than Stevenson (33-20). That was a rare occurrence in 2025 and Stevenson also lost a fumble against the Steelers. Henderson had 16 carries for 76 yards and a 39-yard touchdown run but no targets in Week 2, while Stevenson had six carries for 43 yards and one catch for 3 yards on two targets. This isn't an easy matchup against the Jaguars, but I'll still use Stevenson as a low-end No. 2 Fantasy running back in all leagues. Henderson is worth using as a flex and hopefully, he continues to play more than Stevenson moving forward.

Patriots' TreVeyon Henderson: Scores 39-yard TD in season debut
Rotowire
Henderson (ankle) rushed 16 times for 76 yards and a touchdown and wasn't targeted in the passing game during Sunday's 20-3 win over the Steelers.
Henderson didn't take long to make an impact in his season debut after sitting out the 13-10 Week 1 loss to Seattle. The 2025 second-round pick opened the scoring with a 39-yard touchdown run 6:38 into Sunday's game and handled 17 touches compared to just seven for Rhamondre Stevenson, who lost a fumble on the drive preceding Henderson's touchdown run. Henderson had 180 carries to Stevenson's 130 during the 2025 regular season. Both running backs are likely to be involved in the Week 3 game plan against the Jaguars.

Patriots' TreVeyon Henderson: Says he's ready to go
Rotowire
Henderson (ankle) said Thursday that he's ready to go for Sunday's game against the Steelers, Evan Lazar of the Patriots' official site reports.
Henderson sat out the Patriots' Week 1 loss to the Seahawks but has been practicing without limitations ahead of Sunday's matchup with the Steelers. Rhamondre Stevenson handled 23 touches in Henderson's absence last week, but they figure to shift into a near-even split, leaving few, if any, touches for third-stringer Corey Kiner.

Patriots' TreVeyon Henderson: Full practice Wednesday
Rotowire
Henderson (ankle) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice.
This is a big development for Henderson after his ankle injury kept him out of the season opener. He was a full-go in Wednesday's session, which bodes well for him making his 2026 debut Sunday against the Steelers. The Patriots struggled to run the ball in his absence against the Seahawks, recording just 3.9 yards per carry as a team. Rhamondre Stevenson and Corey Kiner mustered just 62 yards on 24 carries.

Patriots' TreVeyon Henderson: More practice reps on tap
Rotowire
Head coach Mike Vrabel said Henderson (ankle) will "do some more" at Wednesday's practice, Mark Daniels of MassLive.com reports.
Prior to sitting out the Patriots' Week 1 loss at Seattle, Henderson had been sidelined from practice since Aug. 24. The team held an unofficial session Monday, for which Henderson's activity level wasn't divulged, so how he's listed Wednesday may provide insight into his odds to suit up Sunday against the Steelers.

Patriots' TreVeyon Henderson: Sitting out season opener
Rotowire
The Patriots ruled out Henderson for Wednesday's season opener versus the Seahawks, Evan Lazar of the Patriots' official site reports.
Henderson's absence for the opener hardly comes as a surprise, as an ankle injury has kept him from practicing in any capacity since Aug. 24. With the second-year RB sidelined, Rhamondre Stevenson will handle the bulk of snaps and touches out of the backfield. Corey Kiner is the only other healthy back on the depth chart, but the Patriots will likely elevate one or both of Lan Larison and Hassan Haskins from the practice squad.

Patriots' TreVeyon Henderson: Remains out of practice
Rotowire
Henderson (ankle) was listed as a non-participant in Monday's practice, Mike Kadlick of Sports Illustrated reports.
Henderson has been DNP all week leading up to Wednesday's season opener in Seattle, and it's looking extremely unlikely that he's going to play Week 1. The Patriots have one more practice report to issue Tuesday, and it's at least notable that Henderson traveled with the team to Seattle, according to Mike Reiss of ESPN.com. If the second-year running back is unable to play, Rhamondre Stevenson would be looking at a potential workhorse role, as Corey Kiner is the only other running back on the active roster. Lan Larison is on the practice squad as a likely elevation.

Patriots' TreVeyon Henderson: Sitting out Saturday's practice
Rotowire
Henderson (ankle) was in street clothes ahead of Saturday's practice, Andrew Callahan of the Boston Herald reports.
Head coach Mike Vrabel suggested earlier Saturday that Henderson could return to practice, but the second-year running back will end up observing the session in street clothes as he continues to recover from an ankle injury. Henderson will have two more chances to return to practice in at least a limited capacity ahead of the Patriots' regular-season opener against the Seahawks on Wednesday.

Patriots' TreVeyon Henderson: Sits out Thursday's practice
Rotowire
Henderson (ankle) wasn't present for Thursday's practice, Evan Lazar of the Patriots' official site reports.
Henderson has been sidelined for the last 10 days, and while there's been no indication he's dealing with a serious injury, it's starting to get close to the wire for Henderson to play in next Wednesday's regular-season opener against the Seahawks. Henderson will almost certainly need to return to practice before Monday to have a chance to face Seattle. If he can't go in Week 1, Rhamondre Stevenson would get a huge fantasy boost as a surefire RB2 based on volume projection.

Patriots' TreVeyon Henderson: Game slowing down in Year 2
Rotowire
Coach Mike Vrabel said Tuesday that the game is starting to slow down for Henderson as he enters his second season, Taylor Kyles of CLNSMedia.com reports.
Pass protection has remained an issue for him during training camp, but Henderson continues to make plays as a receiver and break off long runs as a rusher. Rhamondre Stevenson has also done nothing to lose his spot atop the depth chart however, after averaging 4.6 yards per carry across 14 regular-season games last season. Henderson played just 31.4 percent of the offensive snaps during New England's playoff run last season and figures to open 2026 as a low-volume, big-play threat. If Stevenson starts off slowly, gets injured or continues to have ball security issues -- he's lost six of 10 fumbles over the last two years -- Henderson has the talent to flip the backfield roles. The 2025 second-round pick is shaping up to be an upside fantasy pick, but one with a risky floor.

Patriots' TreVeyon Henderson: Set to maintain prominent role
Rotowire
As training camp approaches, Rhamondre Stevenson and Henderson remain atop the Patriots' RB depth chart, Avery Hill of the Boston Globe reports.
Though Henderson and Stevenson are in line to continue to share the rushing load in 2026, both players should still have fantasy utility while working in an offense helmed by Drake Maye. In his first year as a pro in 2025, Henderson recorded 180 carries for 911 yards and nine TDs to go along with 35 catches for 221 yards and a score in 17 regular-season contests. Meanwhile, Stevenson gained 603 yards and seven TDs on 130 carries, while adding 32 catches for 345 yards and a pair of receiving scores. While the looming time share remains an issue for Henderson's weekly fantasy floor, the 2025 second-round pick's playmaking ability makes him the upside play in New England's backfield.

Patriots' TreVeyon Henderson: Quiet again in Sunday's win
Rotowire
Henderson carried the ball 12 times for 25 yards and caught one of two targets for minus-2 yards in the Patriots' 28-16 win over the Texans in the divisional round.
The rookie running back's longest gain went for only six yards, and he once again took a back seat to Rhamondre Stevenson, who led New England with 70 rushing yards. Henderson hasn't made much of an impact so far in the playoffs, putting together just 59 total scrimmage yards through the Patriots' first two games, but he'll get another chance to produce a big play or two next weekend in the AFC Championship Game against the Broncos.

Patriots' TreVeyon Henderson: Outplayed by Stevenson in win
Rotowire
Henderson rushed nine times for 27 yards and caught his only target for nine yards in Sunday's 16-3 wild-card game win over the Chargers.
Henderson struggled to find running room, with most of his rushing yards coming on a 15-yard carry on his final touch as the Patriots were running out the clock. He ceded most of the backfield touches to the much more efficient Rhamondre Stevenson, who turned 10 carries and four targets into 128 scrimmage yards. After an underwhelming playoff debut, Henderson will get an opportunity to pick up the pace in the AFC divisional round against either the Texans or Steelers while continuing to share backfield reps with Stevenson. Both of those defenses were stout against the run in the regular season and Henderson hasn't contributed much as a pass catcher recently, with only two targets in his last four games.

Patriots' TreVeyon Henderson: Questionable after full practice
Rotowire
Henderson (concussion), who the Patriots list as questionable for Sunday's game against the Jets, was a full practice participant Friday, Mike Reiss of ESPN reports.
Henderson, who left last Sunday's win over the Ravens in the second quarter after banging the back of his head on the ground while being tackled, practiced on a limited basis Wednesday while sporting a red (non-contact) jersey and remained listed as limited on Thursday's practice estimate. On Friday, the running back shed his non-contact jersey, which suggests that he advanced further through the NFL's concussion protocol. In order to gain clearance to play this weekend, however, Henderson will need to be cleared by an independent neurological consultant, so unless the Patriots officially upgrade or downgrade him, fantasy managers may need to wait for confirmation of his Week 17 status until the team's inactives are posted ahead of Sunday's 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff. If Henderson ends up being ruled out, fellow RB Rhamondre Stevenson would be in line to pace New England's ground game against New York.

Patriots' TreVeyon Henderson: Estimated as limited Thursday
Rotowire
Henderson (concussion protocol) was listed as limited on Thursday's practice estimate.
Henderson was also deemed limited Wednesday, which leaves the running back with one more opportunity to upgrade to a full practice listing before the Patriots' Week 17 injury designations are posted. If Henderson ends up being unavailable Sunday against the Jets due to the concussion he sustained this past weekend, Rhamondre Stevenson would be in line to see added backfield touches versus New York.
