Kings forward Willie Cauley-Stein sprained his left ankle during Thursday'practice, Ailene Voisin of the Sacramento Bee reports.

The ankle injury isn't believed to be serious, so his status for the Oct. 28 regular-season opener against the Clippers wouldn't seem to be in much peril. It's still been undetermined whether Cauley-Stein or Kosta Koufos will garner the start alongside DeMarcus Cousins in the frontcourt once the season opens.
