Cowboys' Michael Gallup: Could return to practice in Week 8

Coach Mike McCarthy relayed that he's "hopeful" Gallup (calf) will resume practicing in a limited fashion in advance of the Cowboys' Oct. 31 contest versus the Vikings, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.

The Cowboys will be on bye Week 7, but it looks like Gallup could be designated to return from IR leading up to Week 8 action. With that in mind, the wideout is worth adding by fantasy managers with roster flexibility in leagues where he's been cut loose. Gallup has been sidelined since straining his left calf during Dallas' season opener against Tampa Bay.
