Eagles' Terrell Edmunds: Inks deal with Eagles
Edmunds signed a one-year contract with the Eagles on Friday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Edmunds is now in line to replace C.J. Gardner-Johnson -- who signed with the Lions on Sunday, as Philadephia's starting strong safety for at least the 2023 campaign. Edmunds missed two games due to injury in 2022, but he logged at least 70 tackles for the fourth time over his first five professional seasons while also posting a career-high mark in sacks. The 25-year-old is slated to become an unrestricted free agent during the offseason, but it wouldn't be surprising to see the Steelers express interest in bringing him back given the impact he's had over his five seasons with the team.

Edmunds (hamstring) was a full participant in Thursday's practice session, Brooke Pryor of ESPN.com reports.
Edmunds was unavailable last week against the Raiders and didn't practice Wednesday, but he should be available Sunday against the Ravens after practicing in a full capacity Thursday. Over his last six appearances, he's racked up 27 tackles (15 solo), including a sack.

Edmunds didn't practice Tuesday through Thursday, and he'll sit this one out, which should lead to added Week 16 snaps for Damontae Kazee and Miles Killebrew. Edmunds thus will target a potential return to action Week 17 against the Ravens.

Edmunds (hamstring) is considered questionable to play Saturday against the Raiders, Brooke Pryor of ESPN.com reports.
Edmunds did not practice during Week 16 prep while dealing with a hamstring injury that he presumably picked up during Sunday's win over the Panthers. However, he appears to still have a decent chance of playing Saturday against Las Vegas, and he should retain a starting role at strong safety when available. Otherwise, Miles Killebrew and Damontae Kazee will be next in line for increased snaps alongside Minkah Fitzpatrick.

Edmunds came one stop shy of tying his season high set Week 6 versus Tampa Bay. The 25-year-old also played every defensive snap alongside free safety Minkah Fitzpatrick for the first time since Week 7, as the Steelers had to focus on slowing down Baltimore's run-heavy attack. Edmunds is currently on track for one of the least productive campaigns of his five-year career, totaling 55 tackles and three passes defended after his first 12 games in 2022.
