LeVert (foot) is making progress in his recovery, but is still limited as training camp approaches, Mike Mazzeo of ESPN.com reports.
The No. 20 overall pick underwent three surgeries in college to repair a stress fracture in his left foot, so he'll continue to handle his rehab slowly in hopes of avoiding any sort of aggravation. LeVert's rehab will likely carry into the preseason, and he could even be limited when the regular season begins. The Nets understand their place as a non-contender in 2016-17 and selected the Michigan product as more of a long-term investment.
