The Rockets recalled Whitmore from the G League's Rio Grande Valley Vipers on Friday, Lachard Binkley of TheDreamShake.com reports.

Whitmore was productive for Rio Grande Valley in recent matchups and was one of three players to be recalled by the parent club Friday. Despite his recent G League results, he's unlikely to see much playing time for the Rockets.
