Students attending Highland Park High School in Dallas, Texas have a lot to brag about. Three alumni have now officially seen top accomplishments in their respective sports, with the latest being Scottie Scheffler by earning the famous green jacket and lifting the Masters trophy with his win on Sunday at Augusta National

Scheffler, who got his high school diploma in 2014, entered the 2022 Masters as the No. 1 golfer in the world. He left with an even more impressive resume and a record $2.7 million payday

He might have the spotlight now, but just a few months ago it was shining bright on a different Highland Park alum. This was none other than quarterback Matthew Stafford, who won Super Bowl 56 with the Los Angeles Rams. Stafford was the first overall pick by the Detroit Lions in the 2009 NFL Draft, before making his way to the City of Angels where he found the top of the NFL mountain.

Clayton Kershaw got the recent Highland Park success trend going in 2020 when he became a world champion with the Los Angeles Dodgers. The pitcher has a long list of honors including being an eight-time All Star, a Golden Glove Award winner and the 2014 National League Most Valuable Player.

Highland Park alums and students alike certainly have a lot to cheer about at the very top of the sports world over the past couple of years.
