Brewers starting pitcher Shaun Marcum is scheduled to make another rehab start with the Class-A Wisconsin Timber Rattlers Monday, according to Brewers media relations director Mike Vassallo.
Marcum's return to the Brewers rotation was dependent upon a bullpen session this week.
Without Marcum, the Brewers are scheduled to start Mark Rogers , Marco Estrada and Yovani Gallardo against the Cubs in the series starting Monday.
Marcum is 5-3 with a 3.39 ERA and 1.17 WHIP in 13 starts this season. In two starts with the Timber Rattlers, he has allowed three runs on five hits and two walks in 6.2 innings while striking out seven.
