  • Ravens' Patrick Queen: Solid second season

Queen tallied 98 total tackles, 2.0 sacks and one fumble recovery in 2021.

The second-year linebacker out of LSU turned in a solid season but still showed that there is room for improvement. Queen's ability in coverage was a problem in his rookie season and his numbers in that area actually declined in 2021 as he allowed 8.2 YPA and gave up two touchdowns. He was a reliable presence, however, playing in every game and logging the second-most snaps on the Baltimore defense behind Chuck Clark. It's important to note that Queen is still young for his experience level as he won't turn 23 until August. He's still a standout athlete who can be an impact player despite being somewhat undersized for an inside linebacker. The 2020 first-round selection will be a significant piece of the Baltimore defense in 2022.

  • Ravens' Patrick Queen: Tallies nine tackles

Queen had nine tackles (four solo) and one pass defensed during Sunday's 41-21 loss to the Bengals.

Queen set a season-high with 13 tackles (11 solo) last week against the Packers, and he nearly reached double digits again Sunday. The 2020 first-round pick has 92 tackles (65 solo), two sacks and one forced fumble through 15 games, but he could be more of an an IDP option down the stretch if he continues the strong production from the past two games.

  • Ravens' Patrick Queen: Ready to go for Week 13

Queen (ribs) is active for Sunday's game against the Steelers, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.

Queen was able to practice as a full participant Thursday and Friday, so it was a little surprising to see him still listed as questionable heading into Week 13. The 2020 first-round pick has recorded 62 tackles and two sacks across 11 appearances this season.

  • Ravens' Patrick Queen: Ready for Week 13

Queen (ribs) was able to return to full participation at practice Thursday, Jonas Shaffer of The Baltimore Sun reports.

  • Ravens' Patrick Queen: Questionable despite full practice

Queen (ribs) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Steelers, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.

Queen was able to practice as a full participant Thursday and Friday, so it's a bit surprising to see him still receive the questionable tag. Regardless, it appears the 2020 first-round pick is on track to play Sunday at Pittsburgh.

  • Ravens' Patrick Queen: Suffers injury to ribs

Queen is questionable to return after suffering an injury to his ribs Sunday against the Browns, Jonas Shaffer of The Baltimore Sun reports.

Queen suffered the injury late in the third quarter and recorded seven tackles while also recovering a fumble prior to his exit. If Queen is forced to miss any additional time, there will be a significant hole in the team's linebacker corps as he leads the team with 54 tackles on the campaign. Kristian Welch could see an increased role in Queen's absence.

  • Ravens' Patrick Queen: Picks up second sack

Queen had five tackles (four solo), one sack and one forced fumble during Thursday's 22-10 loss to the Dolphins.

Queen's impact play wasn't enough to earn a victory for Baltimore, but it was reassuring to see him come back to IDP relevance. In his previous three contests, Queen had only racked up nine total tackles. The second-year pro will look to continue building momentum against Justin Fields and the Bears on Sunday.
