Falcons' Maason Smith: Sent to Atlanta
8h agoThe Falcons acquired Smith from the Jaguars on Friday in exchange for Ruke Orhorhoro, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Both Smith and Orhorhoro were second-round picks in the 2024 Draft and will get a change of scenery. In two seasons with the Jaguars, Smith appeared in 24 regular-season contests and logged 32 tackles (14 solo), including 3.0 sacks, and four pass breakups.

Ruke Orhorhoro JAC DT
Jaguars' Ruke Orhorhoro: Flipped to Jacksonville
8h agoThe Jaguars acquired Orhorhoro from the Falcons on Friday in exchange for Maason Smith, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
The two teams are swapping defensive tackles, both of whom were second-round picks in the 2024 Draft. After playing just 148 defensive snaps across eight regular-season appearances as a rookie, Orhorhoro appeared in all 17 regular-season games in 2025 and posted 25 tackles (12 solo), including 3.5 sacks, and one pass breakup. He'll go to a 4-3 defensive front in Jacksonville.

Jacoby Brissett ARI QB
Cardinals' Jacoby Brissett: Seeking raise to starter-level pay
11h agoBrissett isn't attending Phase 1 of Arizona's offseason program and is seeking an extension that will pay him commensurate with being a starting quarterback, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Brissett is scheduled to make $9.06 million in 2026 but has only $1.5 million in guaranteed money in his current contract. The Cardinals appear willing to address Brissett's request, per Rapoport. Until a new deal is agreed upon, the 33-year-old quarterback will likely remain away from team activities. Brissett started the final 12 games of the 2025 season for the Cardinals and is expected to serve as the team's starting quarterback in 2026, though he posted an uninspiring 1-11 record as a starter last season.

Will Anderson Jr. HOU DE
Texans' Will Anderson: Signs three-year, $150M extension
12h agoAnderson agreed to a three-year, $150 million extension with the Texans on Friday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Anderson's extension includes $134 million in guaranteed money and gives him the highest salary in NFL history for a non-quarterback. This contract also includes a no-trade clause. The 2023 first-round pick has been among the most dominant defenders in the NFL since entering the league, generating 30.0 sacks through three regular seasons.

Quentin Johnston LAC WR
Chargers' Quentin Johnston: GM shuts down trade rumors
15h agoChargers general manager Joe Hortiz said Thursday that Johnston isn't on the trade block, Kris Rhim of ESPN.com reports.
"There's a lot of rumors out there on Twitter," Hortiz said. "And I can tell you this, I have made zero calls about Quentin, and I've had zero calls regarding Quentin." Johnston is heading into the fourth year of his rookie contract, and the Chargers have until May 1 to decide whether to pick up the 2023 first-round pick's $18.1 million fifth-year option for 2027. The 6-foot-2 wide receiver has recorded eight touchdown catches in each of the last two regular seasons, but Johnston has struggled with drops throughout his NFL career.

Nicholas Singleton 2005 RB
Nicholas Singleton: Healthy ahead of NFL Draft
1d agoSingleton (foot) has been medically cleared and has resumed running, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Singleton suffered a fractured fifth metatarsal bone in his right foot while attending the Senior Bowl in late January, but he is now back to full health ahead of the 2026 NFL Draft. The running back figures to be a mid-round selection in the three-day event beginning next Thursday in Pittsburgh. Singleton finished off a record-setting four-year career at Penn State in 2025, racking up 549 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns on 123 carries while also reeling in 24 of 34 targets for 219 yards and a score over 12 contests in his final campaign.

Luisangel Acuna CHW 2B
White Sox's Luisangel Acuna: Pair of hits, stolen base in win
9m agoAcuna went 2-for-4 with a double, walk, stolen base, RBI and two runs scored in Friday's 9-2 win over the Athletics.
Acuna swiped his fifth base of the season in the fourth inning, and his RBI double one inning later was his first extra-base hit of the season. The light-hitting Acuna is now slashing .193/.242/.211 with three RBI, six runs scored, five steals and a 3:9 BB:K across 63 trips to the plate.
-
Colson Montgomery CHW SS
White Sox's Colson Montgomery: Drives in two Friday
14m agoMontgomery went 2-for-4 with a double, two RBI and a walk in Friday's 9-2 win over the Athletics.
Montgomery got the scoring started with an RBI double in the top of the first inning, giving Chicago a 1-0 lead. Like most of his White Sox teammates, Montgomery has been scuffling at the plate for most of April. Friday marked just his third multi-hit game of the season. On the season, Montgomery is slashing .191/.295/.382 with three home runs, 11 RBI, five runs scored, one stolen base and a 7:26 BB:K across 78 plate appearances. After striking out 29.2 percent of the time as a rookie last season, Montgomery's strikeout rate has swelled to 33.3 percent early on in 2026.

Andrew Benintendi CHW LF
White Sox's Andrew Benintendi: Doubles twice in win
20m agoBenintendi went 3-for-6 with two doubles, one RBI and two runs scored in Friday's 9-2 win over the Athletics.
With the three-hit night, Benintendi has his average above .200 for the first time since April 3. He was just 3-for-29 at the plate over his previous 11 games. The 31-year-old entered play Friday with just two extra-base hits and is still looking for his first home run of the season. Benintendi is slashing .204/.271/.333 with three doubles, two RBI, four runs scored and a 5:22 BB:K across 59 plate appearances.

Daulton Varsho TOR LF
Blue Jays' Daulton Varsho: Deemed day-to-day
25m agoVarsho is day-to-day after exiting Friday's game against Arizona with left knee discomfort, Arden Zwelling of Sportsnet.ca reports.
Manager John Schneider said that Varsho reported discomfort in his lower quad before the game, so Schneider took him out of Friday's contest as a precaution. The 29-year-old outfielder hasn't gone in for imaging, which suggests that the team doesn't believe he's dealing with anything serious. If he sits out another game as a precaution, Myles Straw is likely to benefit from an extra start in center field.
-
Davis Martin CHW SP
White Sox's Davis Martin: Lowers ERA to 2.16 with third win
25m agoMartin (3-1) earned the win Friday against the Athletics, allowing one run on three hits and two walks with four strikeouts across seven innings.
Martin doesn't possess the best stuff, but he's been able to locate his pitches through four starts and is eating innings for Chicago. Martin has now gone seven innings in back-to-back starts against the Royals and Athletics and has done so on fewer than 90 pitches both times. The 29-year-old lowered his ERA to 2.16 and owns a 19:6 K:BB across 25 innings. Without swing-and-miss stuff, Martin doesn't carry much fantasy upside. He's slated to face the Diamondbacks in Arizona next week.

Munetaka Murakami CHW 1B
White Sox's Munetaka Murakami: Powers ChiSox with grand slam
32m agoMurakami went 3-for-5 with a grand slam and two runs scored in Friday's 9-2 win over the Athletics.
Murakami singled and scored in the third inning and then busted the game open with a grand slam off Elvis Alvarado in the top of the seventh to give Chicago a 9-1 lead. After going just 1-for-23 at the plate from April 5 to April 12, Murakami has hits in three of his last four games, including two homers and six RBI. Murakami is slashing .200/.361/.477 with six home runs, 13 RBI, 14 runs scored and a 17:28 BB:K across 83 plate appearances. He's homered, walked or struck out in 61.4 percent of his trips to the plate.

Jalen Suggs ORL SG
Magic's Jalen Suggs: Serviceable effort in win
3m agoSuggs recorded 12 points (5-8 FG, 2-5 3Pt), five rebounds, six assists and one block in 22 minutes before fouling out of Friday's 121-90 Play-In Game victory over the Hornets.
Suggs was only required for 22 minutes, as Orlando easily accounted for Charlotte, advancing to the first round of the playoffs to face the Pistons. Although Suggs' production was somewhat muted, his impact on the defensive end of the floor was undeniable. He continues to provide Orlando with energy on both ends and will need to be at his best if the team hopes to cause an upset.
-
Jase Richardson ORL PG
Magic's Jase Richardson: Back in rotation Friday
5m agoRichardson finished Friday's 121-90 Play-In Game victory over the Hornets with two points (1-2 FG, 0-1 3Pt), two rebounds and two assists over six minutes.
Richardson made a brief appearance, taking advantage of the fact that the game was a blowout. It continues what has been mostly a disappointing campaign, with Richardson averaging just 4.4 points in 10.8 minutes per game, having suited up for 55 contests.
-
Xavier Tillman CHA C
Hornets' Xavier Tillman: Rare appearance in loss
7m agoTillman ended with two points (1-1 FG) and two rebounds over seven minutes during Friday's 121-90 Play-In Game loss to the Magic.
Tillman made a rare appearance, moving into the rotation, albeit during garbage time only. Tillman played for both the Celtics and the Hornets this season, although he struggled to have any sort of tangible impact. In 31 total appearances, he averaged just 1.5 points and 1.5 rebounds in 6.1 minutes per game.
-
Coby White CHA PG
Hornets' Coby White: Saves worst for last
8m agoWhite finished Friday's 121-90 Play-In Game loss to Orlando with four points (1-5 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT) over 17 minutes.
White had easily his worst game as a Hornet, contributing to what ended up being a blowout loss. Despite averaging 15.3 points, 2.9 assists and 2.1 three-pointers in 23 games since joining Charlotte, it's safe to say that White's overall fantasy appeal took a large hit following the trade. Looking ahead to next season, White could struggle to be more than a stream-level asset, assuming his role remains largely unchanged.
-
Moussa Diabate CHA PF
Hornets' Moussa Diabate: Blocks three shots in loss
11m agoDiabate had two points (1-4 FG), eight rebounds, two assists and three blocks across 18 minutes during Friday's 121-90 Play-In Game loss to the Magic.
Diabate tallied at least three blocks for the seventh time this season, closing out what could be considered a breakout campaign. However, although he was able to establish himself as the starting center in Charlotte, there are certainly some questions when it comes to his overall impact, especially for a team with lofty ambitions. In 75 appearances, Diabate averaged 7.8 points, 8.8 rebounds and 1.7 combined steals and blocks.
-
Draymond Green GS PF
Warriors' Draymond Green: Ejected in season-ending loss
12m agoGreen was ejected with 1:04 remaining in the fourth quarter of Friday's 111-96 Play-In Tournament loss to the Suns after fouling out at the 1:06 mark. He closed with five points (2-4 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), six assists, two rebounds and one steal across 36 minutes.
Both Devin Booker and Green, who was on the bench, were ejected late in the fourth quarter. The veteran big man and the Warriors will now look ahead to next season, though Green does hold a $27.7 million player option for the 2026-27 campaign. He finished the regular season with averages of 8.4 points, 5.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 0.9 steals across 27.5 minutes per game in 68 outings.

Roby Jarventie EDM LW
Oilers' Roby Jarventie: Pots pair of goals in AHL win
5m agoJarventie scored twice in AHL Bakersfield's 5-2 win over San Jose on Friday.
Jarventie has managed 23 goals and 47 points over 60 outings this season. The winger has six goals and four assists over his last six games for the Condors. Jarventie could be a call-up option during the Oilers' playoff run given his recent scoring success.
-
Sam Poulin EDM RW
Oilers' Samuel Poulin: Scores twice Friday
6m agoPoulin scored two goals in AHL Bakersfield's 5-2 win over San Jose on Friday.
Poulin's offense has reached another level this season with 21 goals and 49 points over 70 appearances between Bakersfield and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. Both of those marks are career highs for him. Poulin hasn't made his Oilers debut yet since he was dealt from the Penguins as part of the Tristan Jarry trade.
-
Kenny Connors LA C
Kings' Kenny Connors: Three-point effort Friday
12m agoConnors scored a goal and added two assists in AHL Ontario's 4-1 win over San Diego on Friday.
Connors crossed the 40-point mark for the season with this effort. He's at 15 goals, 41 points and a plus-18 rating over 65 outings this season as an AHL rookie. He also made two regular-season appearances in the NHL, but it could be a while before he's a regular for the Kings.
-
Nikita Alexandrov LA C
Kings' Nikita Alexandrov: Logs three points in AHL win
13m agoAlexandrov scored twice and added an assist in AHL Ontario's 4-1 win over San Diego on Friday.
Alexandrov has four goals and four assists over his last five outings. For the season, he's produced 16 goals, 40 assists, 144 shots and a minus-20 rating over 66 appearances between Ontario and Springfield. Ontario is the top team in the AHL's Pacific Division, so Alexandrov may be in line for a lengthy playoff run with the team.
-
Tristen Nielsen COL C
Avalanche's Tristen Nielsen: Buries pair of goals in AHL loss
1h agoNielsen scored twice in AHL Colorado's 5-2 loss to Calgary on Friday.
Nielsen has four goals and three assists over his last five games. For the year, he's at a career-best 28 goals and 49 points over 66 appearances. Nielsen will look to keep rolling in the AHL postseason, and he's under contract with the Avalanche for 2026-27.
-
Dryden Hunt CGY LW
Flames' Dryden Hunt: Earns three points Friday
1h agoHunt scored a goal and added two assists in AHL Calgary's 5-2 win over Colorado on Friday.
Hunt reached the 60-point mark for the year with this performance. He's at 18 goals, 42 assists, 132 shots on net and 64 PIM across 51 appearances for the Wranglers this year. The 30-year-old forward is under contract for 2026-27 and should continue to serve mostly as an AHL veteran who can fill in at the NHL level if necessary.
