  • Magic's Jalen Suggs: Stuffs stat sheet Saturday

Suggs notched 14 points (6-7 FG, 2-3 3Pt), two rebounds, five assists, two blocks and two steals across 26 minutes during Saturday's 112-109 win over the Pistons. Suggs was nearly perfect from the field, missing just one shot from the field but also making his presence felt across other categories. Suggs has gone through an inconsistent stretch over the last few weeks, but he seems to be getting up to speed after posting double-digit points in four of his last five appearances. He's averaging 13.6 points, 2.8 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.4 steals per game in that stretch.

  • Magic's Jalen Suggs: Not listed on injury report

Suggs (head) isn't listed on Orlando's injury report ahead of Saturday's game against the Pistons. Suggs left Thursday's win over the Cavaliers in the third quarter with a head injury after colliding with teammate Wendell Carter, but the former looks to have avoided a concussion. With Markelle Fultz (injury maintenance) still out, Suggs should handle point guard duties versus Detroit, while Gary Harris starts at shooting guard again.

  • Magic's Jalen Suggs: Leaves early with head injury

Suggs exited in the third quarter of Thursday's 116-109 win over the Cavaliers with a head injury and didn't return, Jason Beede of the Orlando Sentinel reports. He finished with seven points (3-8 FG, 1-4 3Pt), three assists, one rebound and one steal in 18 minutes. Suggs left the game with 7:31 remaining in the third quarter after taking an inadvertent elbow to the head from teammate Wendell Carter. After a brief trip to the locker room, Suggs was back on the bench for the fourth quarter, but he never re-entered the game. Head coach Jamahl Mosley said after the game that Suggs was feeling "OK," but the young guard could still require further concussion testing before his status for Saturday's game in Detroit is determined.

Suggs (groin) isn't listed on Orlando's injury report for Thursday's game against the Cavaliers. Suggs was a late scratch for Orlando's final game before the All-Star break, but he'll return to action Thursday. Over his last 14 appearances, Suggs has averaged 10.8 points, 3.1 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.5 steals in 27.3 minutes per game.

  • Magic's Jalen Suggs: Ruled out for Wednesday

Suggs has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Knicks due to right groin soreness. Suggs wasn't on Orlando's initial injury report for Wednesday's matchup, but he'll be unable to suit up during the team's final game before the All-Star break. Gary Harris (calf) has also been ruled out, so Cole Anthony and Joe Ingles are candidates to see plenty of run Wednesday.

  • Magic's Jalen Suggs: Pops for 17 in Tuesday's loss

Suggs supplied 17 points (5-13 FG, 4-12 3Pt, 3-4 FT), seven rebounds, four assists and one steal in 33 minutes during Tuesday's 127-113 loss to the Thunder. The third-year guard is still struggling to provide consistent offense, but his defensive skills are coming to the fore. Suggs has scored in double digits in only six of the last nine games while shooting 40.9 percent from the floor, but he's averaged 11.3 points, 3.6 boards, 2.9 assists, 2.4 threes and 1.9 steals over that stretch.

Suggs finished Thursday's 127-111 win over the Spurs with 17 points (6-11 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 2-4 FT), three rebounds, two assists and two steals over 29 minutes. It was a nice bounce-back performance for Suggs on Thursday after he went 2-for-9 from deep over his last two appearances while failing to crack double-digit points. He continues to cause havoc on the defensive end of the floor and has registered two-plus steals in eight of his last 10 games.

  • Magic's Jalen Suggs: Strong from deep in victory

Suggs closed Friday's 108-106 win over the Timberwolves with 15 points (4-12 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 3-4 FT), six rebounds, two assists, one block and two steals in 36 minutes. Suggs led all players in Friday's contest in threes made while hauling in a half-dozen rebounds and recording team-high-tying marks in steals and blocks in a well-rounded performance on the road. Suggs, who ended as one of five Magic players with a double-digit point total, has connected on four or more threes in seven games this season. On Friday, he tallied at least 15 points for the first time since Jan. 19.

  • Magic's Jalen Suggs: Questionable to return

Suggs is questionable to return to Friday's game against the Grizzlies due to a bruised left knee. Suggs picked up the knee injury after just four minutes of play. If he's unable to return Friday, the Magic will need guys like Anthony Black, Markelle Fultz and Cole Anthony to soak up more backcourt minutes.

  • Magic's Jalen Suggs: Scores 16 points Wednesday

Suggs posted 16 points (6-7 FG, 3-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four rebounds and one assist in 28 minutes during Wednesday's 106-104 loss to Atlanta. Suggs was coming off three straight single-digit scoring performances, but he bounced back admirably here, although his efforts were not enough to lift Orlando past the Hawks. Suggs earns most of his fantasy value through his scoring methods and is averaging 14.2 points per game since the start of January. His shooting performances have been very good in that span since he's making 49.2 percent of his threes in those nine contests.

  • Magic's Jalen Suggs: Leads starters vs. Minnesota

Suggs closed with 20 points (8-14 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 0-1 FT), five rebounds, two assists and three steals in 27 minutes during Tuesday's 113-92 loss to the Timberwolves. Suggs' 20 points led the Magic starters Tuesday in a game that saw Orlando shoot 36.2 percent from the field against the best defense in the NBA. Suggs has scored in double digits in all five games since the start of the calendar year and has scored 20-plus in three of those five games. He's averaged 19.4 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.2 steals over 32.1 minutes per game over his last five outings.

  • Magic's Jalen Suggs: Hits seven threes in win

Suggs had 27 points (9-15 FG, 7-9 3Pt, 2-4 FT), four rebounds, one assist and one block across 34 minutes during Friday's 122-120 win over the Nuggets. Suggs' seven three-point makes were his most since Nov. 11 when he hit eight of his 10 attempts from beyond the arc against the Bucks. He was second on the team in scoring behind Paolo Banchero and stepped into a larger role in the offense after Anthony Black (illness) left after five minutes of play. Suggs could see more opportunities on offense moving forward with the Magic's injury list growing.

  • Magic's Jalen Suggs: Pops for 20 points against Sixers

Suggs amassed 20 points (8-12 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 3-3 FT), two rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal across 28 minutes during Wednesday's 112-92 loss to the 76ers. The third-year guard scored at least 20 points for the first time in December, as ankle and wrist issues have cost him three games and cut into his effectiveness during the month. Injuries have been the story of Suggs's career so far, but when he's been healthy this season he's shown flashes of the upside that made him the fifth overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft. He's scored in double digits in six straight games sandwiched around a two-game absence just before Christmas, averaging 14.3 points, 3.2 boards, 2.2 threes, 1.5 assists, 0.8 steals and 0.8 blocks over that stretch while shooting 55.9 percent from the floor and 38.2 percent (13-for-34) from three-point range.

  • Magic's Jalen Suggs: Iffy for Tuesday

Suggs (wrist) is listed as questionable for Tuesday's game against the Wizards. Suggs is at risk of missing a third straight game due to a sprained left wrist, though the Magic may wait to reassess him during morning shootaround before making a call on his availability ahead of Tuesday's 7 p.m. ET tipoff. If Suggs ends up sitting out again, Anthony Black and Gary Harris would likely serve as Orlando's starting backcourt tandem, while Cole Anthony could be in line for an elevated role as the lead guard off the bench.

Though Suggs hasn't suffered any reported setbacks with his wrist, the Magic could still opt to hold him out in Milwaukee for what will be the second leg of a back-to-back set.
