The 2021 BIG3 Playoffs begin on Saturday at Atlantis Paradise Island in the Bahamas, where several former NBA stars will try to prove they can still get buckets. Former NBA All-Stars Joe Johnson and Rashard Lewis are captains of the Triplets and 3 Headed Monsters, respectively, and they'll go head-to-head in one semifinal. Meanwhile, Jarrett Jack will lead Trilogy as they take on No. 1-seeded Tri-State, led by NBA Slam Dunk champion Jason Richardson in the other semifinal. You can catch all the action live on CBS and Paramount+.

The Triplets, Tri-State and 3 Headed Monsters all finished their regular seasons at 6-2, while Trilogy went 5-3 and edged out the Killer 3's for the final playoff spot on point differential. The action begins on Saturday at 3 p.m. ET and you stream the games live on Paramount+ with their must-have Premium plan.

Paramount+ now has levels of membership so you can watch the BIG3 and much more. BIG3 predictions, picks for Saturday, August 28

Before you tune in to Saturday's BIG3 action, you need to see the BIG3 basketball picks from SportsLine expert Ameer Tyree. He joined SportsLine after working as an NBA Fantasy sports and betting specialist at DraftKings and has a history of profitable basketball plays that help bettors find edges.

For Saturday's BIG3 action, Tyree is backing the Triplets to get back on track and earn a second consecutive finals berth against the 3 Headed Monsters. With Joe Johnson leading the BIG3 in scoring, the Triplets ran though their first five opponents, but wound up dropping two of their last three and were surpassed by Tri-State for the No. 1 seed on point differential on the last day of the season.

However, Johnson is still the biggest name on any BIG3 roster and has proven over the last two seasons that there isn't a better scorer in the league. Johnson led the Triplets to the 2019 BIG3 championship and earned MVP honors. He'll be a tough matchup against a 3 Headed Monsters defense that allowed the fourth-most points this season.

"It's unlikely that Joe Johnson, the BIG3's leading scorer, will underperform on offense once again," Tyree told SportsLine. "The Triplets should get back to firing on all cylinders and advance to the 2021 BIG3 Finals."
