  • Najee Harris LAC RB
Najee Harris: Scheduled to visit with Vegas
    21h ago

Harris (Achilles) plans to meet with the Raiders next Thursday, April 2, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Harris met with Seattle on Wednesday -- his first reported visit of free agency. He's six months removed from the Achilles tear that ended his 2025 campaign in Week 3, with not much hope of returning to Los Angeles after the Chargers signed Keaton Mitchell. The Seahawks might offer Harris an opportunity to compete for a starting job, whereas he'd merely provide depth behind Ashton Jeanty in Las Vegas. Regardless of where he signs, the 28-year-old Harris will face a difficult path back to fantasy relevance, rehabbing from an injury that's notoriously tough on running backs.

Bills' Damar Hamlin: Back with Bills
    23h ago

Buffalo re-signed Hamlin (pectoral) on Friday.

Hamlin appears to be fully recovered from the pectoral injury that caused him to miss the final 13 games of the 2025 campaign, as he practiced in full and was a candidate to return from IR in advance of the Bills' loss to the Broncos in the divisional round. Across five regular-season appearances last year, Hamlin handled just five defensive snaps. The soon-to-be 29-year-old looks primed to handle a similar reserve role during the 2026 campaign.

    DeAngelo Malone: Visits Tampa Bay
    2d ago

Malone (ankle) visited the Bucs on Thursday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

The 26-year-old edge rusher appeared in nine regular-season games for the Falcons last season, operating primarily on special teams, before he was placed on injured reserve in November. Malone has made 58 career regular-season appearances across four seasons, producing 59 tackles (32 solo), including 3.0 sacks.

  • Myles Garrett CLE DE
Browns' Myles Garrett: No trade in the works
    2d ago

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that the Browns don't intend to trade Garrett, who agreed to restructure his contract earlier this week.

Schefter was told that the Browns are "100 percent not trading" the reigning Defensive Player of the Year. That won't necessarily stop other teams from calling, especially after Garrett's contract restructure fueled trade rumors. The restructure did a few different things with bonuses, including pushing back the dates for large option bonuses to be exercised in 2026-28 -- an adjustment that makes it easier to spread Garrett's dead-cap charge across two seasons in the event of a trade. The Browns reportedly plan to keep him for now, but perhaps with the knowledge that another losing season could lead to Garrett asking out. He publicly requested a trade less than 14 months ago, in February of 2025, before signing a four-year extension in March of 2025.

Commanders' Ahkello Witherspoon: Agrees to deal with Commanders
    2d ago

Witherspoon (shoulder) is signing with the Commanders, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.

Witherspoon will join the team after visiting Washington on Thursday. He evidently showed during the visit that the shoulder injury which landed Witherspoon on IR to finish his tenure with the Rams is no longer bothering the cornerback. Commanders GM Adam Peters was part of San Francisco's front office when the 49ers drafted Witherspoon in 2017.

Bills' Lloyd Cushenberry: Signs with Bills
    2d ago

Cushenberry (undisclosed) signed a one-year contract with the Bills on Thursday.

Cushenberry was released Feb. 25 by the Titans with a failed physical designation, but he has evidently recovered a month later, proving himself healthy enough to sign with Buffalo. He made 23 starts for the Titans over the previous two seasons and will compete for playing time at center with his new team.

Astros' Mike Burrows: Roughed up in Houston debut
    7m ago

Burrows (0-1) took the loss Friday, coughing up five runs on nine hits and two walks over 5.2 innings as the Astros fell 6-2 to the Angels. He struck out six.

Home runs by Josh Lowe in the second inning and Mike Trout in the fifth accounted for most of the damage off Burrows, who tossed 94 pitches (59 strikes) before getting lifted, It was an inauspicious Houston debut for the right-hander, who was acquired from Pittsburgh over the winter, but his workload was at least encouraging after Burrows worked 126 innings over 23 appearances (19 starts) between Triple-A and the majors in 2025. He'll look to bounce back in his next start, which lines up to come at home versus the Red Sox next week.

Red Sox's Tommy Kahnle: Stays behind in Florida
    8m ago

Kahnle remained in Florida to build up for the regular season in a more controlled environment, Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com reports.

Kahnle was a late addition to Boston's training camp, signing just seven days before the regular-season opener, and failed to secure a roster spot before the Red Sox headed north. He will eventually go to Triple-A Worcester, but is listed as on the "development list," meaning he's not yet on the WooSox's active roster. Kahnle is locked into his deal through at least May 1, when an upward-mobility clause kicks in that allows him to pursue other opportunities. If he pitches well at Triple-A, then Kahnle is expected to be part of Boston's bullpen before then.

Angels' Jordan Romano: Works ninth again in Friday's win
    14m ago

Romano struck out two in a perfect ninth inning during Friday's 6-2 win over the Astros.

While it wasn't a save situation, Romano was nearly back in the form he displayed as the Blue Jays' closer a few years ago, topping out at 95.7 mph with his fastball and fanning Joey Loperfido and Yordan Alvarez to secure the win. The right-hander has worked back-to-back days to begin the season, posting a 3:1 K:BB over two scoreless frames with one save, and he appears to be the clear top high-leverage option for manager Kurt Suzuki, at least until Kirby Yates (knee) is healthy. Romano likely won't be available Saturday if the Angels have another late lead to protect, however.

Angels' Mike Trout: Leaves yard again Friday
    19m ago

Trout went 3-for-4 with a walk and a solo home run in Friday's 6-2 win over the Astros.

The 34-year-old is looking rejuvenated to begin 2026, joining Chili Davis, Tim Salmon, Brian Downing and Joe Rudi as only the Angels in franchise history to hit homers in the first two games of a season. Trout was able to play 130 games last year and handle 555 plate appearances, his largest workload since 2019, so the Halos may have finally figured out the best way to keep the long-time face of the franchise healthy and productive. So far this season, he's gone 4-for-6 with two solo shots, a steal, and a 4:1 BB:K.

Diamondbacks' Carlos Santana: Doubles, scores in loss
    20m ago

Santana started at first base and went 1-for-3 with a walk, a double and a run scored in Friday's 5-4 loss to the Dodgers.

Santana started the first two games of the regular season at first base against right-handers, while the lefty-swinging Pavin Smith dealt with an elbow issue early in the regular season. Those two are expected to share first base and DH early on. Designated hitter will become more crowded when Lourdes Gurriel (knee) is ready to rejoin Arizona. The soon-to-be 40-year-old Santana is coming off a 2025 season when he experienced a career-low .325 slugging percentage (11 HR, 22 XBH).

  • Yusei Kikuchi LAA SP
Angels' Yusei Kikuchi: Settles for no-decision Friday
    25m ago

Kikuchi didn't factor into the decision in Friday's 6-2 win over the Astros, giving up two runs on eight hits and a walk over 4.1 innings. He struck out three.

The Angels grabbed a 4-1 lead in the top of the second inning and never trailed the rest of the way, but Kikuchi couldn't last long enough to qualify for the win, getting lifted after 86 pitches (53 strikes) after Yordan Alvarez led off the Houston half of the fifth with a solo homer, following by a one-out Jose Altuve single. Kikuchi has become a reliable innings-eater over the last few years, making at least 32 starts in each of the last three seasons split between the Blue Jays, Astros and Halos with a 3.97 ERA, 1.30 WHIP, 9.7 K/9 and 2.9 BB/9, so better days should be ahead for the left-hander. Kikuchi is set to make his next start on the road next week against the Cubs.

Warriors' Kristaps Porzingis: Comes close to double-double
    18m ago

Porzingis amassed 28 points (9-17 FG, 5-11 3Pt, 5-7 FT), eight rebounds and three assists over 29 minutes during Friday's 131-126 win over Washington.

Porzingis has struggled to be available regularly for the Warriors due to several health-related issues, but when he's out there, he's capable of carrying the team offensively. Porzingis has played in the last three games for Golden State and has surpassed the 20-point mark twice in that span. Since making his debut Feb. 19 after the All-Star break, Porzingis is averaging 17.1 points, 4.7 boards and 2.6 assists per game. However, he's been playing more regularly of late, and over his last six appearances, those numbers have increased to 18.8 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.7 dimes per contest. His arrow is definitely pointing in the right direction.

Warriors' Gui Santos: Shines with 27-point performance

Santos supplied 27 points (8-12 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 8-9 FT), four rebounds and four assists across 33 minutes during Friday's 131-126 victory over the Wizards.

Santos is one of several players who have had to step up offensively due to the absences of Stephen Curry (knee) and Jimmy Butler (knee), and the Brazilian forward is making the three-year, $15 million deal he signed with Golden State earlier this season look like an absolute bargain based on his recent performances. He's averaging 16.4 points, 5.7 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 1.3 steals per game across 19 appearances since the All-Star break. He's also coming off back-to-back games where he's surpassed the 25-point plateau.

Warriors' Brandin Podziemski: Reaches 20-point mark once again

Podziemski logged 22 points (6-13 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 7-8 FT), 10 rebounds, seven assists and two steals over 33 minutes during Friday's 131-126 win over the Wizards.

Podziemski has reached the 20-point mark in three games in a row, which marks his longest streak of the season doing so. With Jimmy Butler (knee) and Stephen Curry (knee) sidelined, Podziemski has been forced to embrace a bigger role on offense, but he's certainly thriving in that scenario. He's averaging 16.9 points, 6.5 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 0.9 steals per game in 16 appearances since returning to the starting lineup on a regular basis Feb. 25.

Wizards' Bilal Coulibaly: Big impact in limited playing time
    29m ago

Coulibaly posted 21 points (8-16 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 1-2 FT), six rebounds, two assists and one block across 19 minutes during Friday's 131-126 loss to the Warriors.

Coulibaly was limited to 19 minutes for a second consecutive game, but that didn't stop him from being a productive fantasy alternative. He has scored at least 21 points in four of his last seven games despite averaging just 27.9 minutes per game over that stretch. The numbers are there for the Frenchman, but it's worth keeping a close eye on his playing time, as his fantasy upside won't be very high -- despite how talented he is -- if he continues to log fewer than 20 minutes per game.

Pistons' Duncan Robinson: Questionable to play Saturday

Robinson (hip) is listed as questionable for Saturday's game against the Timberwolves.

Robinson was a late scratch from Thursday's game against the Pelicans due to a right hip strain. If he's unable to play Saturday, then Kevin Huerter would likely remain in Detroit's starting lineup against Minnesota. Since the All-Star break, Robinson has connected on 41.0 percent of his three-point attempts (on 6.4 3PA/G) while averaging 11.1 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.6 assists over 26.2 minutes per game.

Wizards' Will Riley: Another strong showing

Riley finished with 22 points (8-12 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 3-3 FT), five rebounds, five assists and two steals over 29 minutes during Friday's 131-126 loss to Golden State.

Riley has been one of the brightest spots for the Wizards this season, and his emergence as a reliable contributor after the All-Star break has been a positive aspect -- both in fantasy and real life. Riley has scored at least 15 points in five of his last seven outings, and this 22-point output off the bench was his best scoring mark since he had 22 points in a loss to the Heat on March 10. Riley has been a popular addition in most fantasy formats, and the numbers back him up since he's averaging 15.0 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game in 19 appearances since the All-Star break.
