Schraeder had been a mainstay at tackle for the Falcons, starting 73 of 88 games in his six-year career. The 30-year-old could find a new team shortly given his long track record as an NFL starter.

Falcons' Ryan Schraeder: To have challenging matchup Sunday
Head coach Dan Quinn said Thursday Schraeder will be facing off with Cameron Jordan for most of Sunday's game, since the Saints defensive end has been primarily playing on the left side thus far this season, Kelsey Conway of the Falcons' official site reports.
A tough test looms for Schraeder in Week 3, going up a player who tied for the fourth-most sacks in 2017 (13). After recording six tackles in the opener against Tampa Bay, Jordan picked up two sacks of Tyrod Taylor last Sunday in a 21-18 win over the Browns. Schraeder and the Atlanta offensive line have been underwhelming thus far in 2018, surrendering the ninth-most quarterback hit thus far (15) while ranking right in the middle of the pack with four sacks allowed.

Falcons' Ryan Schraeder: Clears concussion protocol
Schraeder was able to take part in positional drills Monday and subsequently cleared concussion protocol, D. Orlando Ledbetter of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
Shraeder has been in concussion protocol since suffering a head injury Week 2 against the Packers. It appears the 29-year-old made enough progress with his recovery during the team's bye week, and he's seemingly on track to start at right tackle Sunday against the Dolphins barring any setbacks.

Schraeder remains in the concussion protocol after suffering the head injury in the team's Week 2 win over the Packers and has been sidelined for the Falcons' past two games. It appears he's made progress with his recovery during the team's bye week, but until he clears the protocol, Schraeder's status for the team's next game Week 6 against the Dolphins will remain cloudy.

Falcons' Ryan Schraeder: Starts in Week 2 of preseason
Schraeder (ankle) started in the Steelers' exhibition loss to the Steelers on Sunday.
Schraeder tore a ligament in his right ankle during the Falcons' Super Bowl loss to the Patriots, and has been limited for much of the team's offseason activities. However, he saw 14 snaps in the preseason game, so he is seemingly on track for a healthy start to the season. The veteran currently projects to start at right tackle in Week 1.

Falcons' Ryan Schraeder: Cleared to resume running
Schraeder (ankle) has been cleared by doctors to resume running, ESPN.com reports.
After tearing a ligament in his right ankle during the Falcons' Super Bowl loss to the Patriots, Schraeder began lifting weights at the team's facilities toward the end of February. The team is set to begin its offseason program on April 17, and the 28-year-old is expected to participate. He appears to be trending toward complete health heading into the training camp.

Falcons' Ryan Schraeder: No surgery required
Schraeder (ankle) will not require ankle surgery, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. "No surgery," he said. "It's not that big of a deal. It just hurts like heck."
Schraeder went down in the Super Bowl with a torn ankle ligament and wasn't expected to need surgery anyway. However, it still isn't clear when he'll be cleared to play again. He has until April 17 before the Falcons' offseason program starts up.

Schraeder tore a ligament in his right ankle during the Falcons' 34-28 overtime loss to the Patriots in Super Bowl LI, ESPN reports.
Schraeder sustained the injury in the second quarter but didn't exit the game until the fourth. He's scheduled for further testing Tuesday, although surgery is not expected to be necessary.
