Morgan (undisclosed) worked out for the Falcons on Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
The Patriots waived Morgan from IR with an injury settlement in August, and he's been without a team since. The 24-year-old originally signed with New England as an undrafted free agent in April.

John Morgan: Waived by New England
The Patriots waived Morgan (undisclosed) from injured reserve Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Morgan had just reverted to injured reserve Tuesday but will now head back to waivers. The 24-year-old is now free to sign elsewhere once healthy.

Patriots' John Morgan: Reverts to IR
Morgan (undisclosed) reverted to New England's reserve/injured list Tuesday after going unclaimed off waivers, per the NFL transaction log.
Morgan was waived/injured with an unspecified injury Monday. Now that he's on IR, he'll be forced to sit out for the entire 2024 season unless he reaches an injury settlement with the Patriots.
