Jaylon Hutchings MIN DE
Jaylon Hutchings: Cut by Minnesota
10h agoThe Vikings waived Hutchings (undisclosed) with a non-football injury designation Tuesday.
Hutchings went undrafted out of Texas Tech in 2024 and has yet to appear in a regular-season NFL contest.

Zach Tom GB G
Packers' Zach Tom: Underwent surgery on knee
11h agoPackers GM Brian Gutekunst confirmed Tuesday that Tom (knee) underwent surgery this offseason to repair a partially torn patellar tendon, Dominique Yates of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Tom popped up on the injury report with a knee injury in December and ended up missing the Packers' final four contests of the 2025 season, including their wild-card loss to the Bears. The right tackle has started all 46 games in which he's appeared over the last three regular seasons.

T.J. Edwards CHI LB
Bears' T.J. Edwards: Still recovering from fractured leg
11h agoEdwards (lower leg) said Tuesday that he's progressing in his rehab from a fractured fibula and is aiming to be ready for Week 1, Chris Emma of 670TheScore.com reports.
Edwards suffered the injury in Chicago's wild-card win over the Packers back in January. "I will push as hard as I can to move it as quickly as possible, but I also want to be smart about it, too," Edwards said. "I'll be ready when it's time to go." After starting all 17 regular-season games in each of the previous three seasons, Edwards dealt with injuries in 2025 and made just 10 regular-season starts before his postseason injury.

Jack Westover NE TE
Patriots' Jack Westover: Signs ERFA tender
11h agoWestover signed his exclusive-rights free-agent tender with the Patriots on Tuesday.
It was merely a formality for the 26-year-old fullback. Westover has touched the ball just one time in 20 career regular-season games while logging 246 offensive snaps in that span.

Daniel Jones IND QB
Colts' Daniel Jones: Making progress
15h agoColts coach Shane Steichen noted Tuesday that Jones is already handling dropbacks at this stage of his recovery from a torn right Achilles, James Boyd of The Athletic reports.
Jones suffered his Achilles tear on Dec. 7 last year, so the QB still has a way to go in his recovery, and the Colts have not yet offered a timeline on when Jones might be fully cleared. Steichen did note that the signal caller is having a "phenomenal rehab," adding that he's confident Jones is doing everything he can to be ready sooner rather than later. With Jones still on the mend, Riley Leonard will handle first-team reps during OTAs, as Anthony Richardson (eye) -- who has requested a trade -- wasn't present at all for the start of Indy's voluntary workout sessions.
-
Harold Fannin Jr. CLE TE
Browns' Harold Fannin: Participates in minicamp
16h agoFannin (groin) participated in Tuesday's voluntary veteran minicamp practice, Kelsey Russo of the Browns' official site reports.
Fannin sat out the Browns' 2025 season finale against the Bengals due to a groin injury, but he's moved past the issue. The second-year tight end sits firmly atop a depth chart which no longer includes David Njoku, who remains a free agent, and as a rookie last year Fannin recorded a team-high 72 catches on 107 targets for 731 yards and six TDs in 16 regular-season contests. With Njoku no longer in the mix, Fannin should have an opportunity to improve on those numbers given the unproven options behind him at the position for Cleveland.

Cedric Mullins TB CF
Rays' Cedric Mullins: Idle against lefty
3m agoMullins is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Reds, Ryan Bass of Rays.tv reports.
Mullins had started in each of the Rays' last seven games, but the left-handed-hitting outfielder will take a seat for the series finale while the Reds send southpaw Brandon Williamson to the mound. Over 20 plate appearances against lefties this season, Mullins has slashed .176/.263/.176.
-
Kyle Isbel KC CF
Royals' Kyle Isbel: Trio of hits Tuesday
7m agoIsbel went 3-for-4 with two doubles and two runs scored in Tuesday's victory over Baltimore.
Isbel was productive out of the nine hole, recording three hits, highlighted by a pair of doubles to lead off the fifth and seventh innings. After opening the season with an eight-game hitting streak and an OPS north of 1.000, the outfielder entered Tuesday's contest just 1-for-27 over his previous 11 appearances. He will look to build on this performance and get back on track at the plate to pair with well-regarded defense.
-
Jake Fraley TB RF
Rays' Jake Fraley: Not starting Wednesday
9m agoFraley (lower leg) is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Reds, Ryan Bass of Rays.tv reports.
Fraley was lifted early in Tuesday's 12-6 loss after bruising his right lower leg when he fouled a pitch off himself. He'll get at least one day out of the lineup to recover, though with left-hander Brandon Williamson starting for the Reds, the left-handed-hitting Fraley likely would have been on the bench Wednesday even if he had emerged healthy from Tuesday's contest.
-
Rece Hinds CIN CF
Reds' Rece Hinds: Giving way to Benson on Wednesday
14m agoHinds is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Rays.
Though he appears to have overtaken Will Benson as the Reds' primary right fielder, Hinds will hit the bench Wednesday after four straight starts. Since being called up from Triple-A Louisville on April 14, Hinds has slashed .125/.185/.208 with five RBI and two runs in seven games.
-
Tyler Stephenson CIN C
Reds' Tyler Stephenson: Receiving breather Wednesday
16m agoStephenson is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Rays.
Stephenson had started behind the plate in each of the Reds' last five games, so he'll get some rest Wednesday while Cincinnati closes out its series at Tampa with a day game after a night game. P.J. Higgins will handle catching duties for the Reds.
-
Ke'Bryan Hayes CIN 3B
Reds' Ke'Bryan Hayes: Resting Wednesday
19m agoHayes is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Rays.
Hayes will hit the bench after going 2-for-12 with a solo home run, two walks and an additional run while starting in the Reds' last four games. Eugenio Suarez will replace Hayes at third base in the series finale.
-
Alperen Sengun HOU C
Rockets' Alperen Sengun: Drops 23 points in loss
37m agoSengun finished Tuesday's 101-94 loss to the Lakers in Game 2 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs with 20 points (9-20 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-3 FT), 11 rebounds, five assists, two blocks and four steals over 35 minutes.
Sengun put together a strong line in Tuesday's win, but it wasn't enough as Houston dropped to a 2-0 series deficit. Through two games, he's averaging 19.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists, 1.5 blocks and 2.5 steals.
-
Robert Williams III POR C
Trail Blazers' Robert Williams: Plays well off bench
39m agoWilliams closed Tuesday's 106-103 victory over the Spurs in Game 2 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs with 11 points (5-6 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 0-1 FT), nine rebounds, four assists, two blocks and one steal in 23 minutes.
Donovan Clingan has struggled in this series, so Williams may be asked to do a bit more going forward after making a strong impression Tuesday. He will be tasked with slowing down Victor Wembanyama, although San Antonio's franchise player is now in jeopardy of missing time with a concussion.
-
Toumani Camara POR SF
Trail Blazers' Toumani Camara: Nearly double-doubles
41m agoCamara totaled 10 points (3-7 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), nine rebounds, one assist, one block and three steals across 35 minutes during Tuesday's 106-103 win over the Spurs in Game 2 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.
Camara posted a well-rounded stat line as the Trail Blazers leveled the series at one win apiece. Through two games, Camara holds averages of 9.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.0 assists, 1.0 blocks and 2.5 steals in 33.5 minutes per contest.
-
De'Aaron Fox SA PG
Spurs' De'Aaron Fox: Scores 17 points in loss
43m agoFox provided 17 points (6-16 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 4-5 FT), two rebounds, four assists and two steals in 34 minutes during Tuesday's 106-103 loss to the Trail Blazers in Game 2 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.
Victor Wembanyama has been diagnosed with a concussion and will undergo further testing Wednesday, putting his status for Game 3 in jeopardy. If Wembanyama is unable to play Friday, Fox will almost certainly see a bump in usage for the Spurs.
-
Jayson Tatum BOS PF
Celtics' Jayson Tatum: Nearly triple-doubles
44m agoTatum closed with 19 points (8-19 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 14 rebounds, nine assists and one steal across 39 minutes during Tuesday's 111-97 loss to Philadelphia in Game 2 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.
Tatum was ice cold from beyond the arc but missed out on a triple-double by just one assist. Through two postseason contests, he's averaging 22.0 points, 12.5 rebounds, 8.0 assists and 1.5 steals on 47.2 percent shooting from the field.
-
Andre Drummond PHI C
76ers' Andre Drummond: Strong line off bench
1h agoDrummond closed with 10 points (4-4 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 1-2 FT), eight rebounds, two assists and one steal in 26 minutes during Tuesday's 111-97 win over the Celtics in Game 2 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.
Adem Bona continues to struggle as the fill-in starting center, while Drummond bounced back Tuesday after a lackluster effort in Game 1. Joel Embiid (abdomen) started his post-appendectomy strength and conditioning program Monday, but his status for Game 3 looks iffy at best.
-
Dan Vladar PHI G
Flyers' Dan Vladar: Slated to start in Game 3
10m agoVladar is expected to start at home against the Penguins on Wednesday in Game 3 of their first-round series, per Jordan Hall of NBC Sports Philadelphia.
Vladar earned a 27-save shutout over the Penguins in Game 2 after turning aside 16 of 18 shots in the series opener. His efforts have enabled Philadelphia to take a 2-0 series lead. He finished the 2025-26 regular season with a 29-14-7 record, 2.42 GAA and .906 save percentage in 52 appearances. While Vladar has done well in the 2026 playoffs, Pittsburgh still figures to be a challenging adversary going forward. The Penguins finished third in goals per game during the regular season with an average of 3.54.

Alex Lyon BUF G
Sabres' Alex Lyon: Perfect in relief Tuesday
30m agoLyon turned aside all seven shots he faced after replacing Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen early in the third period Tuesday during the Sabres' 4-2 loss to the Bruins in Game 2 of their first-round series.
Luukkonen has looked shaky through the first two games of the series, coughing up seven goals on only 39 shots, so Lyon's strong play late Tuesday -- even if it did come after the game was all but out of reach -- will give coach Lindy Ruff something to think about heading into Game 3 on Thursday. The 33-year-old Lyon hasn't started a game since March 27 and hasn't won one since March 19, however, finishing the regular season with a 2.77 GAA and .906 save percentage over 36 outings.
-
Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen BUF G
Sabres' Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen: Gets hook in Game 2 loss
34m agoLuukkonen gave up four goals on 19 shots before being replaced by Alex Lyon early in the third period Tuesday during the Sabres' 4-2 loss to the Bruins in Game 2 of their first-round series.
After a scoreless first period, things fell apart for Buffalo in the second, and Luukkonen didn't help matters when he let a bouncing puck get past him for Boston's second goal on a backhand flip from center ice by Morgan Geekie. Lyon was perfect in relief in the final frame, creating a potential goaltending controversy for the Sabres heading into Game 3 on Thursday after Luukkonen gave up seven goals on only 39 shots through the first two games in the series.
-
Elias Salomonsson WPG D
Jets' Elias Salomonsson: Heads to AHL
37m agoSalomonsson (concussion) was reassigned to AHL Manitoba on Wednesday.
Salomonsson was in the concussion protocol, but this move suggests that he's been cleared medically. The 21-year-old had a goal and five points across 32 regular-season outings with Winnipeg in 2025-26.
-
Jonathan Aspirot BOS D
Bruins' Jonathan Aspirot: Two helpers in Game 2 win
39m agoAspirot pocketed two assists Tuesday during the Bruins' 4-2 win over the Sabres in Game 2 of their first-round series.
The rookie defenseman helped set up Viktor Arvidsson tallies in the second and third periods. Aspirot hadn't produced any points at all in eight April games leading into Tuesday, including a Game 1 loss, but he's been finding other ways to contribute with seven blocked shots and four hits through two games to begin the series.
-
David Pastrnak BOS RW
Bruins' David Pastrnak: Two-point effort in Game 2
43m agoPastrnak notched two assists Tuesday, one on the power play, during the Bruins' 4-2 win over the Sabres in Game 2 of their first-round series.
Both helpers came in the second period as Boston took control of the game, as Pastrnak had a hand in tallies by Morgan Geekie and Pavel Zacha. Pastrnak has come flying out of the gates this postseason with a goal and five points in two games, on the heels of his fourth straight regular season with at least 100 points, and the 29-year-old superstar will look to stay locked in as the series shifts to Boston for Game 3 on Thursday.
