Quinshon Judkins CLE RB
Browns' Quinshon Judkins: Rehabbing at voluntary minicamp
1h agoJudkins (ankle) was spotted in uniform and rehabbing at the start of Cleveland's voluntary minicamp on Tuesday, Dylan Feltovich of USA Today reports.
Judkins' exact participation level is difficult to determine, with Camryn Justice of News 5 Cleveland reporting that the 2025 second-round pick participated in on-field activities in some capacity, while Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports that he monitored practice from a side field. In any case, Judkins' activity level during spring figures to be largely limited to rehab work as he recovers from surgery undergone in late December to address a dislocated right ankle. Ahead of the 2026 NFL Draft, Judkins projects as the leader of a backfield that also houses Dylan Sampson, Raheim Sanders and Ahmani Marshall, all of whom are second-year pros.

Shedeur Sanders CLE QB
Browns' Shedeur Sanders: First up for spring reps
1h agoSanders started Cleveland's first 11-on-11 team period at voluntary minicamp Tuesday, though he rotated reps with fellow QBs Deshaun Watson and Dillon Gabriel, Kelsey Russo of the Browns' official site reports.
Sanders is firmly in the mix in Cleveland's quarterback competition, though there isn't necessarily much information to glean from the chronology of team drills at this stage in the offseason. That said, new head coach Todd Monken did note that "[t]he plan was to have [Sanders] have a few more reps, but to let Deshaun [Watson] and [Sanders] both have reps with the ones." Monken's comments essentially confirm assumptions that Sanders is entering spring workouts as the favorite for No. 1 QB reps over Watson, while Gabriel ranks closer to No. 3 on the depth chart, though things stand to be fluid given the ongoing nature of this positional competition. Across eight regular-season appearances (seven starts) as a rookie, Sanders completed 57 percent of his pass attempts for 1,400 yards, seven TDs and 10 INTs.

Jaylon Hutchings MIN DE
Jaylon Hutchings: Cut by Minnesota
12h agoThe Vikings waived Hutchings (undisclosed) with a non-football injury designation Tuesday.
Hutchings went undrafted out of Texas Tech in 2024 and has yet to appear in a regular-season NFL contest.

Zach Tom GB G
Packers' Zach Tom: Underwent surgery on knee
13h agoPackers GM Brian Gutekunst confirmed Tuesday that Tom (knee) underwent surgery this offseason to repair a partially torn patellar tendon, Dominique Yates of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Tom popped up on the injury report with a knee injury in December and ended up missing the Packers' final four contests of the 2025 season, including their wild-card loss to the Bears. The right tackle has started all 46 games in which he's appeared over the last three regular seasons.

T.J. Edwards CHI LB
Bears' T.J. Edwards: Still recovering from fractured leg
13h agoEdwards (lower leg) said Tuesday that he's progressing in his rehab from a fractured fibula and is aiming to be ready for Week 1, Chris Emma of 670TheScore.com reports.
Edwards suffered the injury in Chicago's wild-card win over the Packers back in January. "I will push as hard as I can to move it as quickly as possible, but I also want to be smart about it, too," Edwards said. "I'll be ready when it's time to go." After starting all 17 regular-season games in each of the previous three seasons, Edwards dealt with injuries in 2025 and made just 10 regular-season starts before his postseason injury.

Jack Westover NE TE
Patriots' Jack Westover: Signs ERFA tender
13h agoWestover signed his exclusive-rights free-agent tender with the Patriots on Tuesday.
It was merely a formality for the 26-year-old fullback. Westover has touched the ball just one time in 20 career regular-season games while logging 246 offensive snaps in that span.

Adley Rutschman BAL C
Orioles' Adley Rutschman: Taking seat Wednesday
4m agoRutschman is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Royals.
Rutschman returned with a bang Tuesday following a stint on the injured list, going 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in the Orioles' 6-5 loss. With the Orioles wrapping up their series in Kansas City with a day game after a night game, Rutschman will receive a breather Wednesday, but now that he's healthy again, he should be locked into a near-everyday role between catching and serving as a designated hitter.
-
Eloy Jimenez TOR DH
Blue Jays' Eloy Jimenez: Hitting bench Wednesday
17m agoJimenez is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Angels.
Following a stretch of four consecutive starts at designated hitter, Jimenez will take a seat for the series finale while Vladimir Guerrero covers the DH spot and Lenyn Sosa enters the lineup at first base. Since being called up from Triple-A Buffalo on April 12, Jimenez has gone 8-for-21 (.381 average) with three walks against four strikeouts, but his opportunities remain likely to dry up once the Blue Jays get either of George Springer (toe) or Addison Barger (ankle) back from the injured list.

Colby Thomas ATH OF
Athletics' Colby Thomas: Recalled from Triple-A
19m agoThe Athletics recalled Thomas from Triple-A Las Vegas on Wednesday.
Thomas has slashed .309/.397/.574 with five home runs over his first 17 contests with Las Vegas this season. The 25-year-old could see some reps in the outfield and/or at designated hitter while Denzel Clarke (foot) and Brent Rooker (oblique) are shelved.
-
Joshua Lowe LAA RF
Angels' Josh Lowe: Idle against LHP once again
23m agoLowe is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Blue Jays, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.
The left-handed-hitting Lowe will be held out of the starting nine for the second straight day while the Angels face off against another left-handed starting pitcher (Eric Lauer). In Lowe's absence, Bryce Teodosio will pick up another start in the outfield, this time covering center while Mike Trout occupies the designated-hitter spot.
-
Denzel Clarke ATH CF
Athletics' Denzel Clarke: Sent to IL with bruised foot
25m agoThe Athletics placed Clarke on the 10-day injured list Wednesday with a bone bruise in his right foot.
Clarke didn't start either of the previous two games, though he appeared on defense in Tuesday's win over the Mariners. He will be eligible for activation at the beginning of May, but it's unclear whether he will be ready to go at that time. Zack Gelof started the last two contests in center field and appears poised for regular run at the position while Clarke is out.
-
Adam Frazier LAA 2B
Angels' Adam Frazier: Out vs. LHP in second straight game
25m agoFrazier is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Blue Jays, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.
After a stretch of four consecutive starts -- all against right-handed pitching -- Frazier will hit the bench for the second day in a row while the Angels face another left-handed starter (Eric Lauer). Vaughn Grissom will receive the nod at second base Wednesday while the Angels continue to take a platoon approach to the keystone.
-
Jonathan Isaac ORL PF
Magic's Jonathan Isaac: Listed out for Game 2
1h agoIsaac (knee) is out for Wednesday's Game 2 against the Pistons.
Isaac has been limited to non-contact drills so it was a surprise he even had a doubtful tag prior to this.

Rockets' Alperen Sengun: Drops 23 points in loss
3h agoSengun finished Tuesday's 101-94 loss to the Lakers in Game 2 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs with 20 points (9-20 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-3 FT), 11 rebounds, five assists, two blocks and four steals over 35 minutes.
Sengun put together a strong line in Tuesday's win, but it wasn't enough as Houston dropped to a 2-0 series deficit. Through two games, he's averaging 19.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists, 1.5 blocks and 2.5 steals.
-
Robert Williams III POR C
Trail Blazers' Robert Williams: Plays well off bench
3h agoWilliams closed Tuesday's 106-103 victory over the Spurs in Game 2 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs with 11 points (5-6 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 0-1 FT), nine rebounds, four assists, two blocks and one steal in 23 minutes.
Donovan Clingan has struggled in this series, so Williams may be asked to do a bit more going forward after making a strong impression Tuesday. He will be tasked with slowing down Victor Wembanyama, although San Antonio's franchise player is now in jeopardy of missing time with a concussion.
-
Toumani Camara POR SF
Trail Blazers' Toumani Camara: Nearly double-doubles
3h agoCamara totaled 10 points (3-7 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), nine rebounds, one assist, one block and three steals across 35 minutes during Tuesday's 106-103 win over the Spurs in Game 2 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.
Camara posted a well-rounded stat line as the Trail Blazers leveled the series at one win apiece. Through two games, Camara holds averages of 9.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.0 assists, 1.0 blocks and 2.5 steals in 33.5 minutes per contest.

De'Aaron Fox SA PG
Spurs' De'Aaron Fox: Scores 17 points in loss
3h agoFox provided 17 points (6-16 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 4-5 FT), two rebounds, four assists and two steals in 34 minutes during Tuesday's 106-103 loss to the Trail Blazers in Game 2 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.
Victor Wembanyama has been diagnosed with a concussion and will undergo further testing Wednesday, putting his status for Game 3 in jeopardy. If Wembanyama is unable to play Friday, Fox will almost certainly see a bump in usage for the Spurs.
-
Jayson Tatum BOS PF
Celtics' Jayson Tatum: Nearly triple-doubles
3h agoTatum closed with 19 points (8-19 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 14 rebounds, nine assists and one steal across 39 minutes during Tuesday's 111-97 loss to Philadelphia in Game 2 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.
Tatum was ice cold from beyond the arc but missed out on a triple-double by just one assist. Through two postseason contests, he's averaging 22.0 points, 12.5 rebounds, 8.0 assists and 1.5 steals on 47.2 percent shooting from the field.

Jason Dickinson EDM C
Oilers' Jason Dickinson: Game-time call Wednesday
2m agoDickinson (undisclosed) is a game-time decision for Game 2 against Anaheim on Wednesday, per Jason Gregor of Sports 1440 Edmonton.
Dickinson was also a game-time call ahead of Game 1 on Monday. He ended up playing a huge role in that clash, scoring two goals in 12:01 of ice time. Curtis Lazar will probably draw into the lineup if Dickinson can't play.
-
Charle-Edward D'Astous TB D
Lightning's Charle-Edouard D'Astous: Traveling with team
15m agoD'Astous (undisclosed) will join the Lightning on the road for Game 3 against the Canadiens on Friday, Eduardo A. Encina of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
D'Astous is far from a lock to play in Game 3, but the fact that he is going to be on the trip with the team bodes well for a short-term absence. If the 28-year-old Quebec native does get back into the lineup, it figures to come at the expense of Declan Carlile, who will likely return to the press box as a healthy scratch.
-
Pontus Holmberg TB RW
Lightning's Pontus Holmberg: Won't play in first round
15m agoHolmberg (upper body) isn't expected to be an option during the Lightning's first-round series against Montreal, per Eduardo A. Encina of the Tampa Bay Times.
Holmberg hasn't played since April 6 because of the injury. He finished the regular season with 11 goals and 22 points in 70 outings. If Holmberg is able to join later in Tampa Bay's playoff run, he will likely enter the lineup as a part of the bottom six.
-
Yakov Trenin MIN C
Wild's Yakov Trenin: Considered game-time decision
35m agoTrenin (upper body) is considered a game-time decision for Wednesday's Game 3 against the Stars.
Trenin sustained an upper-body injury during Monday's Game 2 against Dallas, and he'll be monitored in the hours leading up to Wednesday's puck drop before the Wild determine his status. If he's unable to suit up in Game 3, Robby Fabbri and Nico Sturm are candidates to enter the lineup.
-
Mats Zuccarello MIN RW
Wild's Mats Zuccarello: Game-time call Wednesday
37m agoZuccarello (upper body) will be a game-time decision for Game 3 versus Dallas on Wednesday, Michael Russo of The Athletic reports.
Zuccarello missed Game 2 and could be in danger of sitting out another contest due to his upper-body injury. Over his last seven games, the 38-year-old Zuccarello has recorded six multi-point efforts, though he has found the back of the net just once.
-
Noah Ostlund BUF C
Sabres' Noah Ostlund: Might be available for Thursday
38m agoOstlund (upper body) might be able to play in Game 3 against Boston on Thursday, per Jourdon LaBarber of the Sabres' official site.
Ostlund had 11 goals and 27 points in 60 regular-season appearances with Buffalo in 2025-26. He missed the Sabres' final 10 regular-season games and their first two playoff outings due to the injury. Jordan Greenway might be a healthy scratch if Ostlund is available Thursday.
