Rotowire

Flyers' Jamie Drysdale: Suiting up Monday
Rotowire
Drysdale (upper body) will be in the lineup against the Islanders on Monday.
Drysdale has been out of action since Feb. 25 versus the Penguins, a stretch of 16 games on the shelf due to his upper-body injury. With just one point in his 11 games prior to getting hurt, the blueliner probably shouldn't be expected to offer much in the way of fantasy value moving forward. With Drysdale back in action, Adam Ginning figures to be relegated to the press box or even sent back to AHL Lehigh Valley.

Flyers' Jamie Drysdale: Moves to injured reserve
Rotowire
Drysdale (upper body) was placed on injured reserve Wednesday, per CapFriendly.
Drysdale was already deemed week-to-week, so this move is simply to free up a roster spot for the Flyers. Egor Zamula has the most to gain from Drysdale's absence, as he'll likely absorb Drysdale's power-play ice time while featuring more consistently in the lineup in general.

The 21-year-old injured that same shoulder during the 2022-23 season, limiting him to just eight total games. Drysdale has four points in 17 games since being acquired by the Flyers. Drysdale picked up a power-play assist in Wednesday's 3-2 shootout win over the Canadiens.
The former Duck wasted no time making an impact with his new club, feeding Morgan Frost for a tally midway through the second period that tied the game at 2-2. Drysdale saw a healthy workload in his Flyers debut -- only Travis Sanheim saw more ice time among the team's blueliners.
