Marshall was waived by the Ravens on Saturday, Ryan Mink of the team's official site reports.
Marshall will look to get picked up off waivers by a new team heading into the regular season. The 2019 fourth-round pick played just three games during his time with Baltimore, all of which came during his rookie season.

Ravens' Iman Marshall: Practicing with team
Marshall (knee) is participating in practice Tuesday, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.
Marshall hasn't played for the Ravens since suffering a torn ACL during practice in August of 2020. The 2019 fourth-round selection will work to prove he still belongs on the team and ultimately earn a role in the Ravens secondary.

Ravens' Iman Marshall: Lands on IR
Marshall (knee) was placed on injured reserve by the Ravens on Monday.
Marshall had been dealing with a knee injury, dating back to a torn ACL last August, that forced him onto the preseason PUP list. He was activated off the list on Aug. 4. However, it appears that he wasn't fully healed yet as he will miss the entire season after landing on injured reserve.

Marshall tore his ACL last August and spent all season on injured reserve. It is unclear if the 2019 fourth-rounder has resumed practicing or if he will be active for Baltimore's first preseason game Aug. 14.

Marshall was placed on the list because he either tested positive for the virus or came into close contact with someone who did. The USC product was already sitting on injured reserve with a knee injury, so he wasn't expected to return to the field during the 2020 season.

Marshall suffered a serious knee injury during Monday's practice and was placed on injured reserve by Baltimore.
The fact that Marshall was subsequently placed on IR on the same day as he suffered the injury is certainly bad news. The injury specifics are unclear, but it's highly likely that Marshall won't be able to make an impact on the field again until the 2021 season.
