Class of 2017 standout Brandon Randolph announced his commitment to Arizona on Wednesday in a development that means Sean Miller's Wildcats now have the No. 2 recruiting class in college basketball, according to 247Sports.

Auburn's class remains No. 1.

Randolph picked Arizona over reported offers from Louisville, Syracuse and Wake Forest. The 6-foot-5 wing is ranked 38th in the Class of 2017, according to 247Sports. He's the third top-80 prospect to commit to Arizona from the Class of 2017. The others are No. 1 DeAndre Ayton and No. 80 Alex Barcello.

Arizona has landed a top-10 recruiting class each of the past three seasons.

The Wildcats are ranked 13th in the CBS Sports preseason Top 25 (and one).
