I'm going to give Tiger Woods the benefit of the doubt and say he just has brunch with his mother on Sunday and was shooting for an early round on Sunday so he could get home.

Woods went out in 40 on Saturday (including double at both the par 5s) and came home in 35 to shoot a 3-over 75 in the third round of the Players Championship.

Woods wouldn't talk to the press after the 75. And he might be hurt (?)

So that's fun.

Woods missed half his fairways but hit 13 of 18 greens in regulation. His issue on Saturday is that he couldn't get any putts to fall at all.

If there's a silver lining, it's that Woods played the back side 1 under and didn't make any bogeys. It's the first set of nine holes he's played bogey-free this week.

Woods will have another early tee time on Sunday which means he'll probably be on the featured groups online so we'll get to see every shot (might be another silver lining).

Woods' worst finish ever at this tournament is T-53. He's going to have to have a massive Sunday to better that this year (currently T-70).
